ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Chaudhary Barjees Tahir condemning the nafarious designs of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that India had imposed war against Pakistan on every front.
Addressing to Hurriat Conference held here at Kashmir house, he said that India's war mania reached its climax and killing of two Chenab Rangers personnel was extremely condemnable. He said that India targeted our borders, adding that most vicious of those attacks was use of propaganda by labelling false allegations against Pakistan.
Barjees said that Pakistan was fully capable of responding to the Indian aggression at the Line of Control (LoC) and the working boundary. He said that India should not misconstrue the peace endeavour as weakness. “We are capable of responding to any Indian aggression,” he added. He said that India violated the international laws by attacking the Pakistani troops at the flag meeting.
The minister said that Indian aggression at the working boundary in the past five to six months could spoil the peace. He added that the way in which ranger personnel were martyred, clearly indicated that the top leadership of India involved in this conspiracy. “India continues to escalate the situation and violate International laws, understandings and agreements at the Line of Control and the Working Boundary,” he added.
The minister said that India could not suppress Kashmir’s just struggle for their right to self-determination through use of brutal force and illegal detentions of pro-liberation leaders and activists. “Kashmir is a unique example of such discrimination by the so-called champion of human rights,” he said. He said that Pakistan had always voiced for the right of self-determination for the Kashmiri’s living under the India's illegal occupation.
Barjees said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while addressing the session of the United Nations General Assembly reiterated Pakistan's stance on Kashmir issue and boldly urged the member countries to force India to abide by the the UN resolutions on Kashmir issue. The other Kashmiri leaders also stressed that the region would remain in the grip of uncertainty and confrontation as long as Kashmir dispute was not resolved in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people, in the light of UN resolutions.
Distinguished Kashmiri leaders reiterated that Pakistan wanted to resolve all outstanding issues with India, including the core issue of Kashmir, through meaningful and result oriented dialogue. Other who attended the conference included, Ghulam Muhammad saffi,Tanvir Fatima, Mahmood Ahmed Sagar, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Iltaf Hussain Wani, Abdul Majeed Mir, Abdul Hameed lon, Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah and Shoaib Ahmed Shah and many others.
