Militants attack Army base in Kashmir; one soldier killed, gunfight still on

.
bcoz ur netaji bose and bhagat singh guy also killed british ppl. And for them british empire was occupier. And same Kashmiris think about you.
Did Indians have the same political rights as Britishers during the colonial period? Could Indians vote and elect their representatives? Could Indians become MPs? Did India even have a parliament? Was the British queen or Viceroy elected by the popular mandate of Indian people?

Ponder these questions to understand the difference between India being a British colony, and Kashmir being an Indian state like Maharashtra and Karnataka and 27 others.

Police sources said that a group of three to four militants infiltrated into the Indian side of the international border at Arnia in RS Pura area of Jammu district.

JAMMU: A soldier was killed on Thursday in an ongoing gunbattle between security forces and separatist guerrillas near the international border in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Police sources said that a group of three to four militants infiltrated into the Indian side of the international border at Arnia in RS Pura area of Jammu district. Sources added the militants entered an abandoned Army bunker.

The soldier was killed at Pind Khote in Arnia.

"The infiltration attempt was supported by Pakistan Rangers who fired mortar shells at BSF (Border Security Force) positions in Arnia on Thursday morning so that the militants could sneak in," a senior police officer said here.

Militants attack Army base in Kashmir; one soldier killed, gunfight still on - The Times of India

update from the same shitty news source:
SRINAGAR: Nine people, including three civilians and three Army soldiers, were killed in a fierce gunbattle between the security forces and militants near the international border in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, police said.

Militants dressed in Army uniforms attacked the Indian Army base near the town of Arnia on Thursday, as the leaders of India and Pakistan attended a Saarc summit aimed at boosting trade.

A gunfight between the militants and the Army was continuing, a senior Indian Army officer said. Three militants had been shot dead and one arrested, the officer said.

Four to five militants attacked the Army base near the town of Arnia, about four km (2.5 miles) from the border with Pakistan, the officer, who did not wish to be named as he is not authorised to speak to the media, said.

The militants had divided into two teams, with one group heading for an Army bunker and the other holed up inside a village house, the officer said.

The gunmen didn't infiltrate from the Pakistani side of the border, a senior Border Security Force official said.

"They came in a car to Arnia and took shelter in a bunker and targeted the Army," he said.

I think that is enough to shut up the Indians here.

@Oscar @WebMaster @Horus

Can you please explain why idiots like these keep blaming Pakistan, without any proof, and get away with it?
Track record. Read it up.

And BTW, if you want to do namecalling and personal attacks, it would be prudent not to call the moderators in the same post.

For instance, we all make jokes about the fact that you are a "think tank" - but we don't call the mods in a post in which we may have called you an idiot.

Hi,

Maybe you can stop with your BS. Read the post above. They came from within India. So much for Indian Intelligence.
Hi,

If you read all the news sources, you would realize that what the BSF said was that these militants did not infiltrate during a ceasefire violating gunfire along the border from Pak. They did not say that the terrorists were not Pakistanis at all. The only point of contention between the army's report and the BSF's is whether they infiltrated through BSF manned areas today morning when Pak rangers provided distracting fire. Here, from NDTV:

Senior army sources said that ceasefire violations by Pakistan at the border this morning may have served as cover for the militants to cross over. However, the Border Security Force denied this.

Exactly, so all your hoolahoop comes to nothing. Always blame Pakistan for it's ills.
Maybe they landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport, cleared customs, picked up their local ISI contact from some safe house, and went to Kashmir?

Unlikely. So far, terrorists from the pureland have either snuck in like rats through the LoC, or less frequently, the IB. And on one occasion, the purelanders came through the Arabian sea, exactly six years and one day ago. I've never heard of terrorists coming to India through the IGI airport - if you have any example of such an occurence, do enlighten me.

BTW, even if they did what you hypothesize in your post, Pak would still be to blame, would it not?

Now welcome to reality - these were Pakistani terrorists who infiltrated into India to kill people like many of their predecessors have done before, and will end up dead in unmarked graves and fertilizing Indian soil like like all their predecessors have done before.

It is now worthless to give them clarifications and blame game. The situation calls for a tit for tat. Revive CIT-X.

No one has yet blamed Pakistan, well I don't but people know such kind of modus operandi is Pakistani tactic.

Here comes another one.

Please read your senior member Janon's initial posts.

RIP, soldier, Justice will be delivered to terrorists and others soon.

.
How many layers of security did PNS Mehran have or the GHQ where 42 people were taken hostage ?
So you agree that these insurgents (if they did in fact cross across the LoC/WB) do not need the support of the PA/Rangers to conduct their attacks or "infiltration", given their ability to infiltrate highly secure military bases in Pakistan to carry out attacks on the Pakistani military.
