Microsoft’s default font is at the center of a government corruption case

Everyone loves to point fingers at others man!

Dont you yourself think ONE MAN to be solution of all problems?

I will even take a simple yes or no answer to this is you may please???

DO YOU or DO YOU NOT think one man to be solution to all these problems?

One man plus that daily dose of Army bashing to sort all the issues! \

A feasible solution to Pakistan's governance problems does not exist, Sir.

Moral reform is the most difficult of leadership functions. And most democratic politicians detest it because it involves telling your constituents that they're wrong. That's why America's founders believed a people that embraced democracy have to be good in their hearts in the first place:

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."

As long as Pakistanis are the sort of folk who prefer to risk their lives robbing broken-down gas tankers more than upholding truth and justice, it's hard to see how democracy can change Pakistan for the better, isn't it?

No it was not available , it was only submitted to microsoft in 2004 , lucas de groot maker of this font confirmed it.
correct your information.

First commercial version was available in 2007.
First beta was available after few months when maryam nawaz signed these documents.

So their is no way any law firm could have used it , its scam document presented by nawaz and maryam to miss guide JIT and people, simple forgery.

Sir, the TTF file was available in 2004 for installation and use. Commercial release was NOT a requisite for its use.

Why would a law firm use product which not available in market use your damn head.
in 2004 only microsoft had access to it.
Public Beta was available in late 2006 .

de Groot the creator has spoken as well. 2004 was the unfinished Beta relesed for a very very tiny people for tests and feedback, now why would an organisation which has to be professional in its dealings use a Beta software?

Answer you will get is it was released in 2004. when the finished product was released in 2007 for people to buy and use. furthermore what guarantees are there that the organisation didn't update to office 2007 and waited untill office 2013?

Great attempt to misguide and spread disinformation but it all fall tooi paar like mian ji:enjoy:

Ya , that's well established fact that law firms are not beta tester of IT companies.

We asked the creator of Calibri to weigh in on the JIT debate

Sigh...here we go again:

Calibri was designed and released in 2004 to Microsoft, and first released as a part of Windows Vista beta in Nov 2006, and RTM was in 2007 as a part of Office 2007.

Businesses do not use beta software in live environments - ever. Usually they're 1-2 releases behind the latest RTM software release.

More than 1-2 releases, recent WannaCry virus exposed how many major systems, including UK's NHS are running on variants of Windows XP

I'm not saying it wasn't, but that's not proof, copy right of 2004 does not mean released in 2004, it just means Windows patented it then.

Let us concentrate on the many substantive issues raised by the JIT, since the font issue is not one, in comparison, and provably wrong, Sir. Even the originator of the font admits that it was possible to use the font when the document was allegedly written, since the TTF file was available.
