Recently, China's anti-monopoly agencies launched an anti-monopoly investigation of Samsung, Hynix and Micron's three major storage chip giants. In the global DRAM market, the Big Three occupy more than 90% market share. If the three giants are ruled to have a price monopoly and are punished for sales in China in 2017, then the fine will be between 440 million and 4.4 billion U.S. dollars, and if the market behavior from 2016 to today is taken into account, If the annual sales amount is punished in 2017, the fine will be between US$800 million and US$8 billion.
