Mi-35 is a transport Heli masquerading as an attack heli (basically Mi-17). Too old, too large, too unwieldy. Mi-28 is also an earlier design (1982?) and has had significant operational issues (hydraulics) and was not sold widely.

The Chinese WZ-10 is a newer dedicated heli-gunship with better (sophisticated) avionics equivalent to the Mi-28, which was designed around the equivalent of a Hellfire missile which is the standard for heli-launched missiles. However I am not sure if a Hellfire equivalent HJ-10 and its variants (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HJ-10) were fully deployed by China.

BTW India and Pakistan both field Hellfire missiles.

@wanglaokan may know more about HJ-10 variants.....

Please state why - Mi-28 has not seen significant sales because of reliability issues.

there was some problem with the mi28 several of them crashed including 1 or twice during air show

Govt already under pressure for buying Chinese submarine. Buying attack helicopter will increase it more. Mil-28nm is heavy attack helicopter compare to Apache not medium weight class WZ-10 . A proven deadly attack helicopter will increase motivation for our arm force. Just imagine it's coming with 16 atgm against you .

WZ10 now carry AKD10 ATGM.

Theoretically WZ10 can carry 16 ATGM, but we never saw the picture.
