Mexico to reopen its embassy in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Mexico is in the process of reopening its embassy in Islamabad, which was closed in 2009 due to financial restraints.

This was stated by Ambassador of Mexico to Iran Ulesis Canchola, who also looks after Pakistan from there, while talking to Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs Awais Leghari in Islamabad today.

The visiting Ambassador also wished to widen the existing bilateral framework between two countries.
