With work on the JF-17 Block 3 underway, and the First Flight expected in August 2019, is there any word of the PAF' interest in inducting a Meteor Class Ramjet BVR missile? The Pl-10E Advanced WVR missile already has the E at the end of its designation indicating it might be ready for export soon. But currently there hasn't been any word of a PL-10D Ramjet BVR missile, or PL-15 or PL-21 ramjet BVR Missile in the same class of the Meteor offered in any Chinese export sales. The Meteor is a crucial part of the Rafale deal, and If Pakistan inducts a similarly classed missile alongside the JF-17 Block 3 it can negate that advantage of the IAF's Rafales.

Perspective arms sales to Arab allies would be more likely with such a missile as part of the offerings. Especially for countries like Egypt, which has had to fly its F-16s armed with Aim-9 Sidewinders and Aim-7P Sparrows! Even the 20 Egyptian F-16 Block 52 that they bought as part of a $1 Billion package can only fire the Aim-7P. (http://www.f-16.net/f-16-news-article4669.html)

PL-21 is the project that not persuaded By China, and PL-15 is not ramjet missiles but dual pulse rocket motor and it (PL-15) has a range more than Meteor but Meteor has advantage that it have 3 times more no escape zone envelop than any BVR missiles in the world @FuturePAF

Thanks for the correction. The drawings told a different story, but I appreciate you filling me in on the differences.

Any indication the PAF is pursuing any of these designs?

PL-15 with the range of about 200km is the biggest AAM in size that J-20 can take inside. China is developing a new AAM, six of which can be taken by J-20.
