Aziz Rabah, Minister of Energy, Mines and Environment, and Miklos Trumpler, Hungarian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, chaired, Friday, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Environment and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Hungary on cooperation in the field of training and education in the nuclear industry on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
This MoU aims to facilitate the establishment of long-term cooperation regarding the applications of nuclear science and technology, education and training between Morocco and Hungary, thus contributing to the economic development of our country.
Through this memorandum, the two parties will work closely on developing programs for cooperation in training and education, particularly in the areas of developing basic and applied research, nuclear science and technology, the legal framework for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, in addition to developing local industrial capacity through trade cooperation between suppliers of goods and services in the two countries and developing programs to exchange students, professors and doctoral graduates between Moroccan and Hungarian universities, with the participation of research institutes.
