Melbourne Uni pays out $700,000 to PhD student 'groped' by professor

This topic is serious and needs mature discussion. First of all, the professor of Indian origin has brought disgrace and embarrassment to Indian nationals instead of improving image which is really tragic and I know that they are condeming him as much as other nationals do. This incident is not something that Pakistani members should cherish just because the accused was Indian. Our daughters and sons go abroad to gain professional or academic degrees and the way this matter was handled shows reputation of respective institute with regards to women.
I hope that parents will investigate all factors before sending their children to any foreign University and the management makes sure that students do not experience such shameful incidents in future.
Teaching is a noble profession and such cases are bringing shame to all those professors and faculty members who tried to brush such tragedies under the carpet.
Regards

If you want you can take my post as gup but let me tell you....for my professional appointments and duties and I am in U.A.E...

Few days back I met an India businessman who have many Pakistanis and other Asian employees...He met me for Pakistani employees so that he can send them back without pay leave back home.....

During conversation he told me he deliberately son't want to send his Nepalese housekeepers....you know why.....he is one of them who wanted to pray on these helpless cleaning staff...

I kick his @ss out of my workplace and write and email with proof to Indian embassy / consulate further inform Nepalese officials....since then no response from both of them.....

They are spineless creatures only want to pray on helpless people and I feel shame for Nepalese who just served them as masters....and soon Bangladeshi do the same job for them.

Regards,

Very true. In the article itself we can see how the university made it difficult for complain to be heard (the university is ranked among the top schools in the world)
