Thats the whole idea. Pakistan will never allow kashmiris to settle economically. They will forever keep them in penury & hatred to provide steady supply of cannon fodder. Take a look at so called azad kashmir, there are only few colleges and no development. Its more than a coincidence that ruling party in islamabad always forms the govt in so called free kashmir, can guess how free it is. They need some one who willing to die for 20k or throw stones for 200.

It is criminal negligence on part of indias polity with no long term vision(other than making money for self) that has led to this sorry state of affairs. So called separatists have to be dealt with iron hand instead of pandering to them.

Being firm & consistent will send the right message. Instead of firing pellets at protesters we should break a bone or two of separatist coterie. Indian govt spends around 500cr providing security to these morons no wonder they keep playing to gallery.

2. Mosques are being used to influence people in the wrong way. In the middle of the night, mikes from these masjids call out for women and children to participate in protests. Aren't the mosques being misused?
3. Pointing at the recent posters which threatened girls against using 2-wheelers, she said "If you dont react to such threats today then tomorrow your girls will have to suffer more subjugation."
4. Not even the patients in critical condition are allowed to visit hospitals because of the protests.
5. These people(protesters) dont even let the educational institutions function properly.

These Hurriyat yahoos should understand and realize that they are slowly turning Kashmir into a hotbed of fundamentalism. Whatever happened to Kashmiriyat? Do they prefer living in a hell-hole where the ISIS and other such organizations like the LeT run the state under their diktats where there will be no freedom, women barred from education, have a male escort while going out of the house and sit separately from men in buses, Kashmiri males ordered to grow beards and wear shalwars 3 inches above their ankles, no cricket, no football, no mobile phones especially for women, no elections, closure of all restaurants and places of entertainment, banning videos and TV because they say it's 'not in keeping with Islamic traditions'?

That's probably the Hurrityat's concept of azadi for the Kashmiris!

Mehbooba mufti and her father could be the most pro stone pelter voice could be few yeas ago in the political circle of srinagar. If they are taking 180 degree turn and saying such a things today, then there is no steam for the ones who want to have mischiefs in kashmir anymore.

The whole policy of appeasing those who are creating troble is the flawed in itself. Our of millions living in Kashmir only handful are those who are chanting separatist agenda. Our policy should be to empower those others who wants to lead a normal life and make them confront these misguided youth to come back to the main stream. We are always dancing on the tunes of separatist thats why they are getting more powerful.

A view was put up (in some other thread), that Separatist leaders would never allow their own family members to be part of rallies or agitations and therefore we are actually fighting shadows while real culprits are as they say in hindi ball bhi baanka nahi ho raha
Get these morons and deal with them in tough manner. Once they start to wilt, misguided people and youth (as PM Modi said yesterday), will see the real substance.
The problem is some gun totting goondas having support of motor mouth leaders force a normal man to support their circus by force. Let us attack that problem first, rest assured, separatist leaders will have no place to hide.

Mufti clan plays competitive cheap politics when out of power. kidnapping of elder daughter of mufti was one of the starting point. If India had decided not to release any militant we wont have seen these issues. Kashmiri politicians are terribly incompetent so only way they get to stay in power is playing to the rogues gallery. Mehbooba used to be hand in glove with separatists. Now it must be a kick in the a** for the b***.
