Media i agree with you but what about other controversies happening, there are many loose ends to tie which is the responsibility of the govt. blaming all ills on partisan media does not absolve the govt of its responsibility unable to divide the opposition and pass the crucial bills has been a failure. in fact the recent happenings and govt silence has united the opposition.Nepal and Russia are going to be future big foreign policy failures

domestic issues you have already seen what type of unwarranted statements are coming.weaker opposition leaders and majority in lok sabha has been big plus for this govt but not taken advantage of because of poor politics

Fact of the matter is Congress & their Lutyen lackeys are yet to come to terms with that humiliating loss they suffered. They are hoping for a 2G, CWG, Coalgate kinda scams under NDA...but are not having any luck. So what do they do? Create a fear factor & beat the drums of the kind they are beating right now.
You talk about passing bills in the parliament. OK..when in opposition every opposition party plays dirty..their target is to oppose everything that govt does. All that pre-match promises of playing a constructive opposition is nothing BS. All political parties including BJP has played this game of spoilsport when in opposition. But Congress took it to different level this time around. I still can't forget that moment when Congress was protesting & shouting down Rajnath Singh in RS while he was taking Pakistan to task in the issue of terrorism. This is when I lost whatever the little respect I had for the GOP...& congress proved that day that they will sell their own nation for power...& if need be, they will run the agenda of enemy nation in our parliament by shouting down our own Minister for exposing enemy nation. Nothing can be worse than that.

I get your point my friend..& your concern for BJP's wellbeing is really heart warming. I'm not making any excuse for their shortcomings...neither they claim to be holier than thou unlike that nautanki party from Delhi. BJP will play politics like the way it's always been. There'll be fringe elements making odd unsavoury statements..& that's how it works in a democracy. Freedom of expression doesn't mean it's the right of only Akbaruddin Owaisi, Azam Khan or Engineer Rashid..& people from opposite spectrum have as much rights.
But I will be cross with them the day they start running the govt the way Congress was running in their last ten year reign. I will be disappointed if they do a 2G, CWG or Coalgate. I will be angry if they handle foreign policy like MMS did & do a sharm el sheikh. I will be upset if my Defence Minister stands in my Parliament & gives alibi to my enemy country by claiming it was the terrorists in enemy country army's uniform killed my soldiers, not the enemy country's army. This is how I will judge my govt..not by playing politics of fear psychosis & playing victim at the drop of a hat.

lol you talk like one of my school days friend, change of heart happens if there is chance for country to progress with right policies in transparent way. lets see what future holds for the India at large but present controversies can certainly be avoided so that govt looks more focused and not pulling in all directions just like cong govt

You don't need any change of heart or heart surgery for that. Just need a right man at the helm who can take decisive decisions. Not like the one where all the files used to float between PMO & 10 Janpath.

Well Mr, Asad. Not everybody requires Qualification or Education to do good . As an Administrator she is doing every justice to the post she is handling. There are variety of reasons for me to believe that Mrs. Irani is going to change the negative ecosystem prevalent in the country and put in right standards and facilities at work for the children of my country.

She left her career for politics at the peak of her fame and was from a humble background too.

Of course we are not comparing my friend, but saying how different it should be from Congress. & just how different it is. Afterall we keep complaining about how things are bad now compared to the golden period that existed only a year & half ago...so when we do the comparison let's not be selective either. It's very much necessary to remember Congress's ills of past to make sure that we don't repeat it in the future if it all we are confronted with similar situation.

Nobody lied anything. You very well know what had happened and don't need my explanation to figure out that Shri Nrendra Modi was a victim of the custom of child marriage himself which was/is not legally valid, besides if allegations against Mrs. Irani were if at all true, the opposition in India would have feasted this news for ages rather just two to three days.

Moreover these does not matter to the general public like me as long as I am taken care of and my taxes are spent wisely in the betterment of my country.

SRINAGAR: A young MBA pass out has decided not to accept his degree at the first convocation of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Kashmir from Union HRD minister Smriti Irani as a protest against "diminishing freedoms" in the country.

"Though, for a student, receiving a master's degree is no less than any prestigious award. But on October 19, (the Convocation Day) I Sameer Gojwari won't accept it," Gojwari, who completed his MBA from the IUST in 2008, wrote on his facebook page.

Gojwari's post came in response to unconfirmed reports that Irani will be giving out degrees to the pass outs of the IUST at the varsity's first ever convocation on Monday.

"When India's writers are returning literary awards to protest diminishing freedoms and 41 writers across the country have given back most prestigious awards; unofficial reports say that Islamic University of Science & Technology on its 1st Convocation have chaired a minister from Central Ministry #BJP, most likely Mrs Smriti Irani," he said.
