People should know or study about individuals before making accusations. Mayawati would change her religion even If BJP or Modi was not in power. Did you know this. She is pissed off with BJP’s influence & not able to gain any more support from people, so resorting to dirty politics only to gain mileage.
Let me give you an insight into Mayawati. Most Indians also don't know this.
Kanshi Ram (Saheb) founded the Bahujan Samaj Party. He was a good man who worked for the upliftment of the SC, ST & BC. He was a Ramdasia a Dalit sect from the Punjabi Sikh Community. Impressed by Maywati's speaking skills and ideas who was then just a teacher, Kanshi Ram included her as a member of his team when he founded the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in 1984. Ram told her: "I can make you such a big leader one day that not one but a whole row of IAS officers will line up for your orders according to biographer Ajoy Bose. He was a staunch admirer of Dr. BR. Ambekar.
Influenced by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution of India, Kanshi Ram had announced his intention to convert to Buddhism on 14 October 2006, the 50th anniversary of Ambedkar's conversion to Buddhism. He intended for 20,000,000 of his supporters to convert at the same time which included Mayawati. Part of the significance of this plan was that Ram's followers include not only untouchables, but persons from a variety of other castes, who could significantly broaden Buddhism's support. However, Saheb died on 9 October 2006 just 5 days before he & his 2 Million followers were to convert.
Kanshi Ram was bed ridden for long & the sudden death around the proposed date to convert, made Mayawati not able to carry out the proposed conversion, as she was busy shuffling the party members to take control of the party as she was the successor.
Mayawati later gave this justification "Saheb Kanshi Ram and I had decided that we will convert and adopt Buddhism when we will get "absolute majority" at the Centre".
Now she can see no chance to even form a coalition Gov.t in her state, leave alone absolute majority in the center, so trying her cheap blackmail to tarnish BJP & RSS to gain sympathy of Muslims, other minorities & international attention. Most people in UP itself won’t know this, let alone international community or other Indians. Very cheap politics.
According to Kanshi Ram's wishes
(a sikh), his funeral rites were performed as per Buddhist tradition, with Mayawati lighting the pyre. His ashes were placed in an urn and kept at Prerna Sthal, where many people paid their respects.
I am the first person who voice for women at every forum. You can check my posts in this forum too. But Mayawati, Mamata Banerjee & Jayalalitha are all dictator kind of women, who could not find men in their personal lives due to their arrogance. So when they became Chief Ministers they became even more arrogant & enjoyed men bowing down to them to cover their personal lives failures.
She should do, they will never have peace in Hinduism
They will live like second class sub humans and live without the grace of God and burn in hell upon death
If they convert the hindus will still persecute them but atleast they will have the grace of God
