I beleive most Pakistani have same sentiment that India is being used here by Israel. Well I am not going to blame that thought process as people of pakistan have always been used like that before in the name of friendship e.g Americans screwed them left and right, all knows about what Iran and Afghanistan did to them, There religiously equal Saudi Arabia uses them like a napkin, and last but not the least Iron brother for whom they cheerlead all the time, they give them loans with skyrocket interest rates, in the name of development in Pakistan they employ there own people and equipment they don't even support Kashmir. Basically, if you have been used like always, it's really hard to grasp what good relationships are. As a request first try to earn some self respect in global arena, it might help you guys turning around few stuffs.

and People in Pakistan don't like our relationship with Israel for very same reason ..Pakistani society has been transformed after Zia , the seeds of Extreme Ideology has been sowed and now we are reaping all sorts of bad fruits .. Pakistani establishment can't do something which people despise a lot to a extent where they don't care for their own lives .. its a risky thing

Good to hear your views. You are obviously intelligent and compassionate. So it won't be difficult for you to understand that just as Islam has gone through interpretation and reformation, so has Judaism. In fact, of all the religions, Judaism has the largest proportion of adherents who do not take their scriptures literally. Those Jews should be your friends and collaborators; don't waste your energy butting heads with them.

As for understanding any scripture, the context is all important. The Indian member who you are referring to may not have known either context or interpretation, and made the mistake of taking the verses literally. It is our duty, in the interest of the greater good, to inform such people. Maybe he won't listen, but others reading it will surely understand and learn.

I am in the middle of writing an article about Islamic Jurisprudence, as I think it is one of the most relevant subjects about which people are extremely ill-informed. Interpretation is everything, and people should be aware of the various schools of interpretation that Islam allows, giving rise to a diversity of belief among its followers.

I think the entire PDF policy on religious discussion is misguided. While I appreciate the fact that the admin here would like to keep religion out because it needlessly inflames people, it is also true that the religious aspect is always running in the background. I lot of avoidable animosity here is because of a fundamental misunderstanding about religion and the distrust it creates.

It should not be so difficult to discuss these issues without anger and passion. To exclude religion while it is actually the backdrop is based on the assumption that South Asians are juvenile and emotional, which is basically accepting the bigotry of low expectations.

Joint Working Group between India and Israel suggested for Water Resources Management

Union Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Sushri Bharti has said that a joint working group of officials from Indian and Israel should be set up soon to explore the areas of cooperation between both the countries in water resources management. The Minister expressed these views when the Israeli Ambassador to India Mr. Daniel Carmon called on her in New Delhi today. Sushri Bharti said Israel is a pioneer in the field of water management and India can learn a lot from them. She also suggested that use of treated water, PMKSY and mutual cooperation in the field of R&D and training of personnel could be some other areas of cooperation.

The Israeli Ambassador said that a pilot project of waste water treatment can be taken up on Ganga at Varanasi. He also invited the Minister to visit Israel.

It may be recalled that an MoU was signed between India and Israel in November 2016 to strengthen cooperation at the national, regional and international levels in the field of Water Resources Management and Development by collaborating and sharing experience and expertise in the areas mutually agreed upon, including techniques in the efficient use of water resources recycling/re-use of waste water, desalination, aquifer recharge and in-situ water conservation techniques, and water resource management
