This was started before election, when CPM managed to attract some BJP cadres, and they gave lot of publicity for this...... People of Bengal don't have too many choices actually. BJP was virtually nonexistent few months ago. For people here it was a party ruled by North Indians who are least interested in day to day affairs of Bengal. Nor people saw any prospect in this party, neither BJP showed any interest in opposing CPI M then. So not a single good leader is coming even now when the craze is at its peak. The Rahul Sinha chap might prove to be worse than Banerjee if he becomes CM ever.

BJP is the most secular Party. In BJP rulled states, all the communities have got equal opportunities to flourish. Other fake seculars Like Mulayam, Mamta, Congress, The ruling party of Telangana have openly come out in support of Mullah Brand politics. Communal violence bill, Muzaffar nagar riots, Budhwan are the example. On the other hand well being of Muslims in Gujarat and even Higher than population percentage representation in government Job is an example of opportunities Muslims get in BJP ruled state.

Thats mostly in North Kerala..In South major flows are between CPM to CPI or to CPI(ML),SUCI,RSP etc..

My leaders from 2004-2009 were good in what they were tasked to do - So I voted for them in 2009.
My leaders from 2009-2014 were ineffective, so I voted them out in 2014.

Bengal voted for more than 20 years for the same party that gave them no development and steady de-industrialization and Bengalis kept bringing them back. Now Bengalis have voted for a raving lunatic.
