That is very, very true. KSA and UAE have bailed Pakistan out many times and most recently few months ago. That is many thanks. But while saluting them keep in mind these facts ~

KSA and UAE have helped out USA far, far, far, far, far, far more.
KSA and UAE have helped out India far more.

Pakistan is way low on their list of 'helped out'. So being appreciative but keep perspective.

Saudi Arabia did not provide life support to India after its nuclear tests, like they did for Pakistan. Furthermore, they aren't helping India, they are there for profit. On the other hand, they had no reason to support Pakistan after its nuclear tests, aside from brotherhood.

As for the US, the Saudi Kingdom has a long history with them and certain unspoken agreements. The US has become the largest energy producer in the world and thanks to technology, relies less and less on GCC. This is causing some panic among GCC countries and fear for their future. Naturally, Pakistan is and will become more important for them.

Obviously, there is no alliance right now. However, as time goes on, there will be some grouping due to changing environment. The importance & usefulness of Middle East, in sight of US, is decreasing. US no longer has any energy requirements from them. The only reason why they are anchored there is because of Israel, but there is only so far they will go.

It's just that we are so desperate that even bird droppings gives Pakistan ecstasy.

not all muslim countries seems muslims of subcontinent as down to earth, but only arab speaking countries and iran look down to muslims of subcontinent. and that is when they got dollars and started being racist..

So you are saying that 10 empires hundreds of years ago had more borders & divisions then 30-50 countries today?

Stop trying to use blood-shedding in history as an argument against unification today. If you are trying to use that as a reason to argue against Islamic teachings, you are wasting your time. The same hadith(s) predicted blood-shedding and monarchy rule, just like they predict that caliphate will return.

As India's military expands in size, there is no way Pakistan will be able to keep up unless it gets help from Muslim countries - hence an alliance is always necessary. Pakistan had an alliance with Pre-Khomeini Iran and Turkey and received weapons from them during its past wars with India. Come to think of it Pakistan has been supported numerous times by Muslim countries. Even Ghaddafi gave Pakistan cash. This newfound insistence that Pakistan doesn't need anyone is garbage, it has always depending on other Muslim countries.

How exatly do you measure unity? Square miles or number of Muslims? If you look in the past the Muslims were far more divided given their numbers. Today actually they are less divided.

There is a difference between economic activity & aid. GCC have invested in India and they depend on Indian labor, there is some parity. On the other hand, Saudi literally bailed Pakistan out in desperate times and will continue to do so. India will never have that kind of support from Saudi.

It's not about taking pride in aid, it's about reality. You can preach about financial independence all you want, however, Pakistan will be depending heavily on GCC for at least the next decade. The least you - and many others- can do, is not insult them.
