Malaysia has finally made the decision to reject Indian Tejas and picked Korean FA-50 for its 18 Light Combat Aircraft deal

Indian losers will always be losers.

The most sensible choice for the Malaysians, considering it could lead them to eventually buying the joint Korean/Indonesian KF-X. The Malaysians will probably phase out their Russian equipment as soon as it reaches the end of its useful life, but until then they will probably operate as long range anti-shipping platforms.

Indians be like JF-17 Junk Fighter also got rejected
With China as the one of the producers, and Malaysia having territorial disputes with China, it wasn’t a likely buy either. The Indians really lost to the Koreans that made a superior product that has years of actual service.

P.S. If the Malaysians have another type of fighter, perhaps it opens an opportunity down the line for the PAF to do DAC training with the Malaysian Air Force, using the PAF F-16s.

Said this months... ago.

KAI is offering them T-50, alongside help and investment into Malaysia Space Program. There's no other party winning this.

What else can these big mouth Indians do but to deflect attention from their failures?

Even their own Airforce does not want Tejas. Why will anyone else buy that piece of junk?

I don't think Tejas ever had a fighting chance to be really honest....

I mean Tejas is such an older re-hashed warmed-over design.

And FA-50 is like a mini F-35....so much more sophistication and capabilities.

And KF-21 will be still better.

Moreover Korean build quality vs. Indian, the less said the better. Sorry Indians - it is what it is.

In the last ten years, Koreans have made a quantum leap in myriad ways to produce high quality defence items (of course with the help of US defence contractors).

Anything made in India is of poor quality and doesn't meet the required performance , this is now a very established pattern. Indian's are more story tellers and braggarts , the actual reality is crap

You lose once, you lose twice, third time you win. If you don't try, you will never win.

But but Nigeria and Myanmar AF used JF-17 while LCA is still a junk with zero export. Nobody wants it.

Typical face saving excuse. Indian shall go back drawing board and remake the plane instead of keep shoving at others. The only way for India to export LCA is to gift it free. :enjoy:

In full frontline service and on to advanced blocks. Not 50 airplanes that IAF got shoved down.

And when it comes to air shows, its been to Farnborough and Dubai. Tejas went to the loser second tier air show in Bahrain and flew at the loser right before sunset slot when most people had departed. That is the most its ever deployed

Even the Indian Air Force if given a real opportunity wouldn’t pick the LCA Tejas. The only reason they are reluctantly inducting limited numbers is due to political pressures centered around national pride despite the air craft being decades behind schedule and not meeting the requirements of a modern Air Force.
