Also, I was seriois about sending well worded letters and emails to higher ups in IMF about situation in Karachi and how funds are misused.

I have never heard any Japanese say they are "this regional language or that" they always identify themselves with as Japanese , you go anywhere in Japan and the regions are equaly developed

In current Term for Federal Government the ideal situation exists to create 28-30 Administrative zones in control , doing this will eliminate influence of 1 or 2 families over Pakistan as leaders would emerge from each administrative zone

Nobody is expecting anything. I believe the government wants to quickly announce few projects and then call elections to gather the popular vote.

Thankfully people of Karachi are two steps ahead when it comes to not caring for Karachi.

Its when you claim Karachi give 70% or Rs 3 trillion tax. Do you realise how huge this amount is? From where Karachi with must of people living in shanty towns earn that much to give Rs3 trillion in taxes. If you could use your brain then realise its simply impossible. Taxes through port isn't earned by Karachi.

Leave 70% even if its 1% more than any other province make it winner. Point will always be highest tax and revenue generator that is the whole point. Okay to make you happy its 65%.

imo will have to wait and see, but on face of it looks a bit of a bummer tbh. After so much pressure build on Sindh govt., still couldn't go all the way, either their are hindrances in the form of law or system still not ready to go to the extend.
if they are going for something like NCOC style, then the thing is that does it has law covering it to ensure decisions are implemented by hook or crook or it could be challenged even in court of law whenever the "agreement" falls.
Also the thing with NCOC was that CM sindh was agreeing to all decisions but not implementing in letter and spirit. I fear,same gonna happen here.

It’s all BS, if law can allow Musharraf to leave Pakistan and convicted Nawaz Sharif to go to London then Karachi issue can be resolved through Court or by governments.

Not doing anything about Karachi will upset Pakistani investors and they will end up investing billions of dollars in Bangladesh and Malaysia. Thank you establishment

We already have hundreds of districts and these families are still there. They are as institutionalised as anything else, and cant simply be undone with new provinces.

Well when you have smaller Administrative zones

a) Budget is split
b) Each zone gets it's money
c) It is easier to track , wrong usage of funds , as you can narrow down to where corruption is visible
d) Auditing is easier

• When you give lump sum cash to Province, that money disappears because the Province claims , we lost the money building a farm hut for cows and chickens

With 30-40 administrative zones , money is given in hand of Leader of that zone, not in hand of Bilawal


Now if that Administrative Zone , Leader tries to wrongly hide the money , it is very easy to catch him

• 48 Administrative Zones
• Budget is split given to each region
• Red zones get more funding based on population

Person Running country , appoints the head in each Zone

Get rid of Provincial Governments it is a State with in a state
