Seems unlikely based on the minister's report that they shutdown generation on Sunday night due to low demand and the grid tripped while synchronizing newly added generation to the grid in the morning. Plenty of 'heroes' enjoy their 3 minutes of fame by taking credit after the fact.

Exactly I am comfortably sitting in US and such have no incentive to go to Karachi nor the desire. But those complaining about conditions in Karachi and/or beyond do have the incentive to take matters in their hands and if they won't then their constant complaining is all hollow and there aren't any issues.
