First of all, I actually do have a lot of experience being a passenger, having said that, there are many professional analysts and experts that consider the F-35 to be a bad place.

He has already admitted F-35 is crap but does not say it anymore as the US has stopped F-22 production and intends to buy around two thousand F-35s. I guess if he still admits this he cannot brag that US dominance will continue for decades to come.

There are plenty of sources on the internet for that, I'm not going to do your homework for you, that's not my job. I simply posted an opinion based on what I know. If you want a start, read up on what the designer of the F-16 has to say on the F-35, even he says that the tech on the F-35 is great, but it's wasted on a bad plane design, and I think he'd know more about this than either of us.

Again, it was a long time ago, I don't really feel like going back to look for it, because it would take me a long time. I'd rather not waste my entire week on an internet argument. Just an fyi, I was mostly basing my opinion on yours, because I asked you about it, and you provided a good chunk of info.

I didn't say you said it was crap, I said that you said it was a bad design. I'm open to the F-35 if it turns out to be good, my mind isn't totally made up yet. The plane has yet to see completion, so I'm withholding my final judgement, but from what I've read, it does not look good yet. After all, this plane is going to replace our hornets, and the last thing I want is for our air force to be gimped, so I'm just worried is all.

Have a few queries regarding how this will affect actual combat? The DAS is about giving the pilot a 360 view, correct? Does he not already get the same using radar? How will this affect his/her life while flying the plane? Is it not much simpler to give the person all the information on a screen in front?

Why is DAS so revolutionary in combat? Cause, if you cannot point the radar in the said direction, anyway you cannot launch correct?
