Madina welfare state a guiding principle for all times: PM Imran

As per Jinnah, You may belong to any religion or caste or creed that has nothing to do with the business of the state.

How does this virtual riyasat medina fits in, if it's not already an insult to religion Islam and Jinnah?

May be you are right, because all the justifications of Imran Khans highest ever tax rates are compared with England.

BTW, i have no good opinion of English society. Dirty streets, old houses, poor quality of public service. Out look is worst than DHA Lahore.

While Pakistanis live in worst of worst conditions.

So where is the welfare state and more importantly you can't fund a welfare state if you are begging for dollars from your brethren in GCC. Mr Imran Khan like all past governments have failed to show us a concrete plan to fix Pakistan's poor economy, his team is made up for mostly corrupt politicians from previous governments so nothing will likely change in Pakistan. He needs to stop listening to peerni and actually listen to qualified experts in economics and politics.
After 2 years u will get the answer of your question... Wait & watch

Well right now looking like Uganda would be an improvement.

Even Ethiopia of today looks better than most of Pakistani cities, which has nothing to do with religion and high tax rates. I mean it's all administrative work.

First some one from PTI should define what do they mean by madina ki riyasat, only than we'll be able to comment.
It was much easier in past, when politicians give examples of Paris, Switzerland and we were able to challenge them.

There is no maulana diesel in your post. You called Islam a "religion of fools for fools"

This is clear slander against Islam

Pakistan would always be an Islamic state and there is no one who can change that

Lol... Clearly it is only clear in your mind. Of course my response was about the mullana diesel... Only sick minds derive sick meanings implicitly...

It isn't about Pakistan being an "islamic" state... But rather about Pakistanis being corrupt in the case of religion. Each one uses religion to fool the masses.

Religion in politics introduces extreme bias and eventual corruption. Just look at RSS Hindu India as an example.

Can't keep banging your head against the wall and expect a positive outcome because 10 million extremists in Pakistan don't understand these topics.

This guy is intentionally trying to "malign" Islam, why he is talking every day about "Riyasat e Madina", who gave him the right to use his "rhetoric" about Islamic concept of "Riyasat-e-Madina". In Punjab we say in such situation that someone has made something his "torrh", that he has to bring in a particular word to tease "somebody".

.................

Imran Khan is using this term "Riyasat e Madina" rhetorically to defame this Islamic term/concept.

Okay we'll have to wait and see but I don't see much changing in Pakistan simply because I don't see any clear economic polices being implemented by the PM.

Religion and politics are never a good mix

Ever wonder why Roman and Persian empires were obliterated; because of Islamic Political System.

What's with the highest taxation model in world being adopted by Imran Khan, with zero welfare in return?
Our average GDP to tax percentage is 11.6% as compared to ireland 35% and true welfare state sweden 44%. So you can comapare what return we can get

Tax rate are largely the same (except for salary and textile) however, he is trying to improve implementation of the law aka, trying to reduce tax theft.

Welfare states are notorious for high taxes you clearly never been to the UK or Nordic countries? Do Pakistanis think welfare state means people get free stuff without paying any taxes?

As long as he has a concrete plan to fix the economy and raise Pakistan's GDP and tax collection then there shouldn't be anything standing in the way of his dream welfare state, I can understand in a country like Pakistan one has to use religious labels in everything to get attention however then he has no right to complain when Mullahs use religion to disrupt everyday life, they're just doing what the Pakistani establishment has been doing since 50s.
I feel he really believe in power of religion apparent from his life style but whats in the heart only Allah knows.

Keep a religion aside, even based on history, the welfare and judicial system of Madina was one of the best. However, it took decades to create such a system even by the best persons ever born on the planet earth. So while we should support his dream but also keep our hope realistic.
