Please don't be stupid. Indian physicist's move to apply for an associate membership was not approved by the Indian government until December 2015.

India doesn't have its own LHC project. If you're talking about Indian Neutrino Observatory or the IndIGO project, they are not related to LHC.
well im just quoting one of yr leading scientist who after his arrival said to his local indian reporter when asked that wasnt it embarrassing that Pakistan was chosen before india.....and this gibberish was his answer.

BTW u had again applied for CERN in feburary 2016, but i guess its rejected again ?

Please. Don't compare Indian scientist with Pakistanis of all. Let them be happy in whatever little happiness they find.

On topic: congratulations
yup because they aint no match for us.:omghaha::tup:

Non sense.

Who said it is rejected ? Last time I checked, India has been participating in CERN programs for years.

Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs)

The Resistive Plate Chambers (RPC's) are the part of the CMS Muon System. An RPC consists of two parallel plates made out of bakelite with a bulk resistivity of 109 - 1010 Ωcm, separated by a gas gap of 2mm. The whole structure is made gas tight. The outer surfaces of resistive material are coated with conductive graphite paint to form the high voltage and ground electrodes. The readout is performed by means of aluminum strips separated from the graphite coating by an insulating Polyethylene (PET) film. Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs) are very important detectors, because of excellent time resolution which is crucial at Large Hadrons Collider (LHC) due to the beam crossing time of 25ns.

LOL I can give you proof how many of my friends are doing internship at CERN. Stop being so idiot. EVEN USA, JAPAN, RUSSIA are in observer status like INDIA

wow one achievement & you landed on the moon with your potty mouth..
The level of elite members here amaze me..
Read the OP kid! I have just talked abt CERN project only which is the world's most elite science project going on these days. I havnt even talked abt other contributions which our scientists have made in other domains of science n technology and R&D in the world.

Non sense.

what nonsense kid, dont u remember that was the exact thread where u and i had heated debate?

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...hip-to-Cern/articleshow/31075765.cms?from=mdr

And BTW u people r trying since atleast 2012 with no success, While Pakistan applied in 2013 and got membership since june 2014.

Yr only contributing as an observer b my research papers not physically as member by building the thing itself

lol, where does it say that Indian applications were rejected by CERN, kid ?

A senior official of Cern told the TOI in London that bureaucratic red tape in India had slowed down the country's intentions of joining Cern as an associate member.

The official said, "Cern is very keen that India becomes an associate member and takes up a larger role in the experiments at Cern. But the final documents which India needed to submit have been stuck at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) for months now."

Now go drive your Toyota Pajero in the UK.

Yup hence rejected. Remember that yr applying for its membership since atleast 2012, which is atleast 1 year before we first applied 2013.

. .
Till now and for past 2 years, we r the only member from Asia in CERN

lol, rejected ? said who ?
says this dude!!!!!!. U had to apply again in feburary 2016

http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report-india-makes-push-for-cern-associate-membership-2181033

This clearly shows that yr application was rejected that u had again applied in 2013 after first being rejected in 2012. The third one is of feburary 22 2016.

Yr application is clearly NOT pending or put on hold.

As yr trying to imply.

Dude, in international projects and affairs, there is something called maintaining decorum and respect. Hence forth those which r chosen r only announced and those who get rejected r asked to reapply.

If ur looking for something like a clear and blunt statement like get lost/ yr not good enough/ or this specific country has been rejected.... etc etc then u wont find any. Even in UN they dont do that.

Hope u understand how things work in international, multinational events
