@Vergennes

I just had a train ride and because you were such a Macron fan boy i wanted to learn more and looked what this Macron is about.

With all due respect...the french got cucked :D

His first decission now that he is in office is to cut housing benefits for the poorest of the poor. He saves 100 million €.

At the same time he gives 3 billion € tax cuts to the super rich. Its extreme neo-liberalism.

The elction showed that the big majority of french does not want neoliberalism. The left under Mélenchon and the right under le Pen combined got a crushing number of votes.

One could expect that the majority of people counts and there is no place for neo liberalism in france...but...the media fucked you up good. To prevent evil lePen you voted a uy into office who actually worked for Rotschild :D

Its like comedy.

And the big finale...

You know what Macron wrote about in his master thesis?

Hold your breath....

He wrote about Niccolò Machiavelli :victory:

You cant make this shit up. Machiavellism is the ideology that the leader stands for nothing and his only intention is to stay in power. Sacrifice his own people for own gains.

I actually must admit...big kudos to the establishment.

Cmon man it is only 5 Euros a month. That's not a deal breaker. If he wants to cut the deficit people need to handle less freebies. When things are good liberals want to hand out extra money to the poor...then if things are bad they don't want to take it back.

€5 a month is nothing. The government has announced a global reform on housing benefits.
"Structural reforms" will be planned to put an end to a "perverse system" responsible for rent inflation. When there's €1 more of housing benefit, renting costs increase by 50 to 80 centimes.

Housing benefits currently represent €20 billion of spendings. It's time to end a social spending epidemic in our country as France is the country that spends the most as proportion of the GDP to welfare.... 32% of the GDP !

In fact in France we are addicted to spendings, public spendings represented 56% of the GDP last year. We have to reduce it..... and reduce our debt that represents 96% of the GDP (€2,147 billion) and reduce a public deficit of 3,4% of the GDP. (€76 billion)

€20 billion of cuts will be made in 2018,everyone will have to make efforts.

Budgetary discipline will only be good for our country.... and our future.

France to cut €11 billion in taxes next year

France will cut taxes on businesses and individuals by roughly €11 billion ($12.6 billion) next year, faster than the government had originally intended, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe has said.
The goal is to create incentives for investment, hiring and economic growth, Philippe told Les Echos daily in an interview published on its website late Tuesday.

President Emmanuel Macron has promised to put France's financial house in order, with plans to cut taxes by a total of €20 billion euros over his five-year term.

At the weekend, Philippe had indicated tax cuts of around €7 billion euros for next year.

"But last week, with the president, we decided to accelerate the rhythm in order to get the most economic impact from this strategy," he told Les Echos.

Key measures will include eliminating a local residence tax - the taxe d'habitation, for 80 percent of French households and reductions in wealth taxes, while corporate taxes will eventually be dropped to 25 percent by 2022.

Philippe said the government was counting on economic growth of 1.6 percent this year and 1.7 percent in the following 12 months.

Spending cuts will also help offset the hefty tax cuts, expected to represent 0.6 percent of France's gross domestic product (GDP).

But Philippe reiterated the government's pledge to bring the French budget deficit to below 3.0 percent of economic output, in line with EU budget rules.

"We have told parliament that we are aiming for a deficit of 2.7 percent of GDP next year. But I'm not going to be obsessed with a number: My political goal is to be under 3 percent, thanks to restored confidence."

That is what democracy is - pretence of the unintelligent and ignorant masses that they choose their rulers when the leaders are chosen for them

Among other tax cuts,he announced to entirely cut the local housing tax for 80% of the pop,a tax he deemed himself the most 'unjust' one. €3 billion this year, entirely cut by 2020.

And what's your problem against rich people ? You remind me of leftists who hate anyone that is rich, that succeeded in his life. Rich people invest in the economy, they create wealth and jobs..... Or do you prefer freeloaders ?

And FYI,the government is going to replace the wealth tax with a tax on property holdings.

Short version: Macron studied philosophy at Paris Nanterre University, completed a Master's of Public Affairs at Sciences Po, and graduated from the École nationale d'administration (ENA) in 2004.

Details:

While in Paris, Macron failed to gain entry to the École Normale Supérieure twice. He instead studied at the University of Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense, where he obtained a master degree in Philosophy with a thesis on Le Fait politique et la Représentation de l'histoire chez Machiavelli [Political fact and the representation of history with Machiavelli] and a Diplôme d'études approfondies (DEA) degree in Political Philosophy with a thesis on L'Intérêt général: lecture et principes de la philosophie du droit de Hegel [The General Interest. Reading and principles of Hegel's philosophy of law].

The DEA was a postgraduate degree in France from 1964 to 2005, aimed to prepare for advanced doctoral studies. In order to award a government sanctioned degree (diplôme national) for a DEA, the university or institution had to require its students to complete a minimum 90-page thesis with a bibliography based on the students' original research, and a thesis defense. In addition to the research, thesis, and its defense, higher-ranking institutions (grands établissements) often required one-year of classroom study, an internship, a written exam, and an oral exam. Although only credited with one-year, it often took these students two to three years to receive the diploma. Entrance in DEA programs was permitted only to holders of the maîtrise universitaire, a one-year degree aimed to be an initiation to research methods. Despite the thesis requirement, the DEA is considered equivalent to the North American "All But Dissertation" or ABD status within a doctoral program or a master of philosophy (M.Phil.) or master of research (M.Res.) degree.

Subsequently, Macron obtained another master's degree, this time in Public Affairs at the elite Sciences Po, where he majored in "Public Guidance and Economy", after which he trained for a senior civil service career at the highly selective École Nationale d'Administration (ENA), graduating in 2004.

So, I suspect a total of 4 theses of which 2 identified here and 1 dealing in some form with Macchiavelli.

I think you're just jealous.

Pure gold.

Typical liberal answer.

If times are good let's tax the rich more and give more to the poor. Sounds great to a Liberal!

If times are bad let's reverse the formula. Revert the raised tax on the rich and revert the extra given to the poor. Oh no says a Liberal that's evil! evil! Evil! WTF?

Then they scratch their heads wondering why the next time things are good the conservatives refuse to give the poor any extra money.

Unreal!

The problem is never the rich. The problem is always the rich freeloaders.

shocking...a child molester gets to mock Machiavelli while knowing nothing about his political ideas and aspirations for his own country that is now ruined by throngs of child molesters.
