Ofcourse it does it weakens it but hardly makes much of a difference because the index went up today plus how much damage can you cause after all the terrible policies and taxes introduced.

Ofcourse we do if you are a responsible head of a nation and blatantly lie in public then people have the complete right to protest.

No because of they regain their composure they will rob us even more with these type of policies.

I don't think people are being paid to take part in the long march and if they are thank god they are getting something poor them being beat by the cops all day and being barred from within their own country.

Long march is no trick. Making efforts to free our justice system from government influence is no trick! Asif Zardari seems like has done a deal with the devil against Pakistan. His policies are only continuation of Musharaf's policies. So what is the difference?

Pakistani nation is always been made a fool including this time. I have not yet seen the promises of democracy that PPP had done prior to elections?

ANP is a colition partnerr , of PPP IN nwfp & in FEDRAL GOVT, ITS fedral govt which approved the deal & ISLAMIC LAWS!

This long March has support in Punjab only. There is minimal support in Karachi or the rest of the Sindh.

NWFP and Baluchistan have yet to produce 10K plus rallies.

What is going to be achieved out of this? A share in loot maar for the Sharif brothers!

Once Pervez Musharraf, Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif were travelling in an auto-rickshaw. They met with an accident and all three of them died.

An Angel was waiting for this moment at the doorstep of death. He asks MUSHARAF and Zardari to go to HEAVEN. But, for Nawaz Sharif, Angel had already decided that he should be sent to HELL. Nawaz Sharif is not at all happy with this decision. He asks Angel as to why this discrimination is being made. All the three of them had served the public. Similarly, all took bribes, all misused public positions, etc. Then why the differential treatment?

Angel asks all the three of them to appear for an English test.

MUSHARAF is asked to spell " PAKISTAN " and he does it correctly. Zardari is asked to spell " ENGLAND " and he too passes. It is Nawaz Sharif's turn and he is asked to spell " CZECHOSLOVAKIA ". Nawaz Sharif protests that he doesn't know English. He says this is not fair and that he was given a tough question and thus forced to fail with false intent.

Angel then agrees to conduct a written test in Urdu (to give another chance assuming that Nawaz Sharif should at least feel that Urdu would provide an equal platform for all three). MUSHARAF is asked to write "***** BOLA BHOW BHOW". He writes it easily and passes.

Zardari is asked to write "BILLY BOLI MYAUN MYAUN". He too passes. Nawaz Sharif is asked to write "BANDAR BOLA GURRRRRR....." Tough one. He fails again. Nawaz Sharif is extremely unhappy. Having been a student of history (which the other two weren't),he now requested for all the 3 to be subjected to a test in history Angel says OK but this would be the last chance and that he would not take any more tests.

MUSHARAF is asked: "When did Pakistan get Independence ?" He replied "1947" and passed. Zardari is asked "How many people died during the independence struggle?" He gets nervous. Angel asked him to choose from 3 options: 100,000 or 200,000 or 300,000. Zardari catches it and says 200,000 and passes.

It's Nawaz Sharif's turn now. Angel asks him to give the Name and Address of each of the 200,000 who died in the struggle. Nawaz Sharif accepts defeat and agrees to go to HELL.

Moral of the story: IF YOUR MANAGEMENT HAS DECIDED TO TROUBLE YOU, THERE IS NO ESCAPE!

Sherry quits to protest ban on Geo

RAWALPINDI: Information Minister Sherry Rehman called it a day after she failed to convince President Asif Ali Zardari to lift the ban on Geo News transmission, private TV channels reported late Friday night.

Sherry, after coming to know that the Geo transmission was blocked by cable operators in most parts of the country on orders from the top, met the president and appealed to him to lift the ban. On refusal by the president, she kept requesting him to remove the ban, which she said would bring a bad name to the PPP government. However, President Zardari gave no weight to her view and adhered to his decision.

On this, Sherry tendered her resignation in protest against the ban on the Geo News transmission Earlier Sherry Rehman had indicated to resign if a crackdown was launched against the media. The government plan to launch the crackdown was reported by Hamid Mir in The News on Feb 27 . However, sources close to the Presidency denied that the information minister had resigned. The News could not contact Sherry Rehman despite several efforts.

Long March begins, great, more drama in Pakistan, more trouble.
Democracy will ruin us, idiots don't realize this, I'd personally kill Nawaz if I met him in real life, right now, PAKISTAN needs STABILITY, this idiot is trying to gain sympathy and support, his action gets another stupid reaction from yet another corrupt politician Zardari.
Our whole political system is corrupt and messed up, there is no discipline nor is there any solid stance or confidence in anything or anyone.
It's really time for the Army to make some noise about it and force the politicians to shut up and think in Pakistan's interests instead of their own interests.
These old politicians are fightning and arguing but they do not realize that they are ruining the future of young Pakistanis who want to achieve something inside their own country.
