Long March-8 Rocket will be reusable

.
When is India gonna follow the way? I never thought people are comparing us to US now, we are just a poor humble developing country, now we are even capable of catching up to spacex. Damn what era am I living in. Lol
You could be one of those white trash who been live and making money from China but hates China.

There are only Indians here. China is a humble country, we don't need to brag, we work hard and achieve.
Like who gives a sh*t about India?? You want to add backwards Iran too? LOL! They'll both be lucky if they get somebody safely in orbit with only 10 people killed first trying. The Russians supposedly aren't giving them Soyuz tech..like you guys got to avoid that outcome.

Yes, the loudest people comparing are Chinese.

Catch up to SpaceX? LOL! You guys had somebody in orbit and a big budget space agency before they even launched their first rocket. SpaceX caught up to you guys and left you in their dust. Your most powerful rocket, Long March 5, is only slightly more powerful than their first rocket.
You are the one comparing us to spacex mate, I didn't know we are so advanced that a muricunt feels so insecured. Lolol

I don't know mate, you seems to be appearing in alot of Indian threads, I douvt you are a white boy mate. Lol. Could be a yindoo using US flag to feel proud. Lol. Who knows.

Loudest person seems to be you, apperiang in this CHINESE thread, comparing about space X. Lol

Sorry bro, I was miss spelling as you actually meaning him.

Why are you guys always comparing every time ? It's uncalled for to be honest.
It's true that Space X has done a fabulous job in just over a decade of their founding which is amazing in itself judging by the fact that they have developed some incredible innovative rockets that no country or space agency has been able to match even today and they are moving ahead so fast that it's just unbelievable sometimes ( they launch almost 24 rockets this year). However that's also the advantages of having a vibrant space industry and a system that encourages private enterprises and entrepreneurship which the US currently enjoys. So it's normal that China will lag behind in this aspect as their system is different and more state led, and we all know how slow/conservative/risk averse state led enterprises can be compared to private ones who are more risk takers and daring to think out of the box and try new things even if they fail. So it will take some more time for them to get there. However the Chinese are moving forward as well they are not sleeping. So they are getting In the game and also learning from mistakes , for example their government decided to open up their closed up state led space sector to private enterprises only as recently as 2014 that is barely 6 years ago after seeing Space X success.
In fact to prove how state led enterprises can be less efficient, it seems Private Chinese space companies will even launch and have an operational resuable space rocket before even the state owned companies. I red that Landspace and I space will be testing their reusable rocket the end of next year. Meanwhile China's state space companies are still years away from testing one anytime soon.
On a level playing field (given same capital/budget/opportunities for contracts etc) private enterprises will always be more innovative/efficient and productive than state owned ones for obvious reasons.
So it will take the Chinese more time to get there , but they are already in the game and that's the most important thing. The Chinese will get there eventually and they have done quite well this past decade( even if it might be slower than space X pace) , however they have their own objectives and goals.. So it's not always fair to compare both sides in every aspect.
Space is large enough, and we mankind haven't even scratched the surface of it, so no point in this comparisons all the time. Will be better if we can all work together on important projects and exploration when needed. However human pettiness and greed/arrogance won't allow that. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Don't worry about it. We'll just call up Biden and have him hand everything over.

Um..Seems very familiar. You are lucky SpaceX is around to show you the way.
How is it familar? Just becos of a few fins?

The recovery method can be its same but the system are totally different. You can see, China recovery are more direct with boaster and core together.

You don't happen to notice another strikingly similar design of the Falcon rocket leveraged by the Long March 8???

BTW fold down legs are just a quick first gen solution needed by Falcon 9 for a softer landing.

SpaceX's next gen system for Starship doesn't need it.

China also have young private space company just like SpaceX.

Which one strikingly similar? the mechanism or design? and why doesn't SpaceX sue?

You didn't notice LM8 return in whole booster plus core unlike spacex which just single individual module?

So a plane got wing that means is copy of others?

WTF? Your scientists can't even design a different style of landing legs?

You think SpaceX asked "Deep Thought" what is the "super optimal design" and that was what came back as the only one possible??

Did you see the swivel down landing legs on Starship? You guys going to switch to that design next in the near future and then claim the pathetic "planes wings" excuse again too?

SpaceX swivel landing legs...soon to be coming to a future Chinese rocket as it is "an obvious design...like plane's wings or the legs on a moonlander".

Why u didnt mention Chinese scientist design LM8 with reusable boaster combine with core for recovery different compare to SpaceX single core recovered? Let repeat, a place with wings do not mean its a copy of another plane..

Yes, I see you have landed the two solid-core boosters together with a liquid engine Falcon 9 rocket design. Yes, that was a creative way of overcoming the big problem of solid rocket boosters not being able to restart/power land on their own (which isn't a problem for a Falcon rocket with the two liquid side boosters option as they can land seperately). You should upgrade the landing gear to the new 2020 SpaceX swivel design instead of using their old 2013 one. I'm sure your space agency will do that switch after SpaceX does all the testing to perfect it.

Well why don't you mention the two side boosters are only an option for the Long March 8. It likely will launch many times without them..as it did a few days ago. It will look/land exactly like a Falcon 9. Using top fin flaps and the same fold down leg design.

As for the version with the two boosters.

So according to you Airbus is copying Boeing, because their planes are have 2 wing right left with similar shape - exactly like Boeing?
