TRIPOLI

The Libyan army Saturday downed a drone belonging to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which supports militias of warlord Khalifa Haftar.

A CAIG Wing Loong type UAV in the "30th Gate" region of Sirte was dropped, according to the government's Burkan Al-Ghadab (Volcano of Rage) Operation.

The army earlier Saturday launched a military operation, Path of Victory, to capture Sirte, Jufra and towns in Wadi Wishka, Buerat, Jarif and Qasr Abu Haid from Haftar's forces.

The army also liberated the Wadi Wishka area near the eastern city of Sirte on Saturday.

The move came one day after it liberated the strategic city of Tarhuna -- the last stronghold of Haftar in western Libya.

Libya's internationally recognized government has been under attack by Haftar's forces since April 2019, with more than 1,000 killed in the violence.

The government launched Operation Peace Storm in March to counter attacks on the capital and recently regained strategic locations, including the Al-Watiya airbase and Tarhuna, which is viewed as a significant blow to Haftar's forces.

China is not giving them away for hating country X or something, they give them away firstly because they can produce cheap and secondly they want their gear to be used in battlefield so its name appears in news and attracts new customer.
They just choose the wrong partners for promoting their gear though, well not like they had a choice but no publicity would maybe be better than this.

China doesn't hate turkey. The views of some keyboard warriors do not represent the thinking of 1.4 billion Chinese. In fact, many Chinese don't even know that Turks hate them, or they know but don't care.

He probably meant that those Drones are way cheaper than comparable ones on the market.
China could have easily sold those for a higher price to Emiratis and they would even pay it but the reason they didnt in my opinion is in the post above.

He is not an insider nor expert in that area, whatever he says really doesn't matter, It's just pure business, sale at the market price.
the theory of testing bed also doesn't stand, yes we do get feed back from the customers, so does every other countries and I believed no one expected a few ucav to be invincible.
