everyone should start reading the conflict in donbass as a classic similarity to kashmir . ( sympathetic population who felt more connected to russia vs ukraine ) , deployment of cover arty and ghost teams etc

oh come on guys, be reasonable.... India will surely retaliate in the same tone. we have 2 main dams and if India bombs even 1 of them then that will lead to massive flooding downstream and there will be famine for a few years to come. on the other hand we can destroy every dam in Kashmir without damaging or affecting india's reservoirs substantially.
Secondly, a skirmish or a border attack will not lead to war and neither country can sustain it.. pakistan mainly... so unless we create circumstances for a full scale all to die for war, we ain't gonna see any nuclear attack from either country. Nuclear option is not the first or the 10th option, its the last.
Relax, one nation has to be sensible but that does not mean we are coward, arrogant or afraid of war. Just don't add fuel to the fire, let them burn inside out. I say we need to be ready but don't provoke or start anything.

Kashmiris have basically had it, The chain of events since Burhan wani's death have rejuvenated this struggle to an extent where the common kashmiri is willing to die for the cause.
India is basically going through the same disbelief and anger that we had after the FIA and dozen plus bombings in a few months in Lahore, Karachi and all over Pakistan, just at the start of the taliban push in 2007/8. I suspect there will be more similar incidences in India before they realize that the history is repeating itself with the only difference being that this time around they aren't sponsoring it rather they are at the receiving end and paksitan ain't sponsoring it but can surely help put down the fire. The same feeling is nowadays harbored by USA in Afghanistan.

cruise missiles have small HE / tactical nuke warheads and are designed to do precision strikes on mid sized building at best


for dam busting duties, much heavier missiles would be needed. trust me, i worked on one dam( khan khwar KPK) , its a heap of rebar and tons and tons of concrete. the base is much thicker ( so account for hydro pressure at bottom ) . its a mean bad boy to kill

bursting indian dams in kashmir doesnt seem to be a nice option. which country will suffer more with floods once the dams get busted? it will have serious consequences in logistic support to our ground forces in kashmir in north eastern punjab.
