Legendary Pakistani Food Hidden In The Back of an LA Convenience Store

As for the Indian artistic images, how can you ditch scholars arguments over artistic images? The more i research the more i find that majority of the time both men and women used to wear clothing only waist down. Its actually during the gupta empire that they started getting influenced from neighboring countries.

eurocentric scholars seldom hold weight, many a times, they infact try to contradict each other, im talking on evidences, seems like you dont have enough evidences to back your claim.

for instance the scholars try to project how indus civilization people wore nonstitch clothing and were unaware of stitch clothes, but i have come across their own arts depicting stitched clothings.

Ok i provide sources and you provide nothing and still claim to be talking with evidences and again you are dismissing claims of scholars that are more educated in the subject than you and me on some artist depictions. What if i freakin draw a figure with feet bigger than your head and claim that this is you, would that make it real?

I am coming across a few people lately just like you that don't provide any sources or evidences for their claims and what everyone to just blindly believe what they have to say.

Delusion at its height.

What more can I say.

I am getting a vibe from his comments that he might not be wearing the correct flags.

as far as historiography of indian subcontinent goes, the major school of history is the cambridge school, which is accused of pushing eurocentric agenda on indian history.

the argument which you are quoting simply states that before kushans the indians rarely wore stitched clothes, but after kushans that increased.

Quote:"Taking the Kushan period as a starting point the changes that took place in Indian costume as a result of the connections with Uzbekistan in Central Asia are discussed The ordinary dress of the people of India till then had consisted usually of unstitched garments as antariya/dhoti, uttariya/dupatta and a kayabandh/cummerbund with a turban for men. With the advent of the Kushans this was extended, and the fashion of wearing sewn garments of Central Asiatic pattern seems to have made headway with many classes of Indian in North India The cut-and-sewn garments which are rarely visible in the previous Mauryan and Sunga sculptures are more commonly found in this period. The Kushans under Kanishka spread their empire over large parts of Central Asia and India. The Kushans in AD 48 entered Gandhara under Kadphises and overthrew the Greeks. Later they took the Kabul valley from the Parthians and extended their empire to cover the Punjab. Sind, northern Gujarat. and part of Central Asia. Still later they annexed Kashmir and part of Chinese Turkestan. Kanishka (AD 120-162) was their greatest ruler. Although the Kushans ruled for almost three centuries, they never looked on India as their home. Detesting the heat of the plains they retired to Kashmir or Afghanistan in the summer. They wore the clothes of Central Asia which were cut and sewn and consisted of long padded coals and riding boots with spurs and pointed caps, totally different from the draped and unstitched garments worn by the Indians. (page 465)"

where ever the indians are seen wearing stitched clothes befre the alleged kushan periods, they are declared as foreigeners for instance sanchi reliefs and orissa khandagiri cave releif showing s warrior wearing a stitched gown and boots, all these clothes have been declared as foreigners/greeks in indian art.

there are scholars who have argued that those are indians and not foreigners.

this is the reason im asking you to elaborate on how exactly the indian dressing was influeced on central asian clothes model, i am asking you to give better argument than the general ''stitched clothes'' argument, what central asian style clothes did indians start to wear which they didnt before the kushan and ''turk'' period.

the same BS argument is used again to show islamic ''turk'' influence, how indians wore unstitched lungi before turks introduced stitched clothes in india.
