LCD / LED TV Suggestions and Help

I'm looking for a vile of my enemies tears.
Got a site for that?

.
Now a days people are joining defence site to get advice for commercial products :D..

. .
Its your bad thinking if some one asked help for searching so what ?

There is nothing wrong in asking help. But first you should try to help yourself, and when you feel that you can not find solution then only ask for help.

Why ?

You could search some online website, check all available lcd in pakistan, could check there plus and negative points, prices also.
And you can do it for all commercial products. It ll also help you to gain experience.

But saying this "" I am new on defence and I am looking for reasonable LCD TV price. ""
Well this is funny :).

That is not objectionable but your promotion of your business sites here is against the rules.

In line with what's mentioned above, it would be a good idea to make yourself abreast with the rules of a forum once you join lest you fall foul with the Mods.

Thats all.

My LED Setup with Boxee Box

D-Link Boxee Box. Seriously amazing device. People here in Pakistan don't have much idea about such devices (available in US Canada and UK) and those who have some know how actually criticize because they thought this device is only for streaming (known as online streaming devices now adays much popular in US and Canada). I have bought this device not only for streaming. My perspective is to use this device with my HDD portable 2TB also Wifi + watching movies directly from my Hard Disk and also browsing as well. I love the shape/design of this hardware.

Much better than all other comparators (Apple TV, Google TV etc). Supporting almost all formats (Audi/Video + Codecs + 720 - 1080).

Boxee (Boxee Box Website)

The Boxee Box supports the following types of media files:

I would suggest LED over LCD.
I wonder why people are so hung up about buying LCD/LED TVs? These are nothing compared to plasma TVs of which Panasonic is the best by far. Plasmas have much better contrast ratios and far better color and contrast. The images are mind boggling clear and natural. The HD is simply awesome!

However, the big disadvantage is the power consumption of plasema TVs - 240 watts approx. LCD/LEDs consume around 40-60 watts in comparison. But then one can't have the cake and eat it too! But then LCD/LED Tvs are more expensive than plasma TVs. Not worth the extra money!

Black level
Winner: Plasma
Loser: CCFL LCD
Runner-up: LED LCD

Contrast ratio
Winner: Plasma
Loser: CCFL LCD
Runner-up: LED LCD

Viewing angle
Winner: Plasma
Loser: CCFL LCD/LED LCD
Runner-up: IPS LCD

Energy consumption
Winner: LED LCD
Loser: Plasma
Runner-up: CCFL LCD

So for a budget of around Rs 60-70,000 you could get a good 42 -46 inch 3D plasma with glasses. Enjoy!

LED is much better and sharper But LCD is just as good. LED TVs are a lot thinner - thats about it really) personally i would go for Samsung. Smart TV is waste of money if you ask me. you're better of buying normal LED and if you use wifi get an Apple TV. you'll be sorted for life!
