Its true. Many ppl in the world start thinking that CN lab in Wuhan spread the virus, but that guy didnt say a word abt it even when he knows there is a big lab just 30km from the center of Wuhan.

Well, China does a lot of things that earn the disrespect of others, but perhaps people in China are so insulated they don't know how bad their country's reputation is and don't care.

When you eat all kinds of disgusting animals, it gives you a bad reputation. When you do not have any sort of animal cruelty laws and allow people to abuse animals for fun, food or marketing, it gives you a bad reputation. When you have horrible sanitary conditions that allows for the outbreak of viruses and never learn, it causes a bad reputation. When you have a system that has little transparency and allows for the massive abuse of human rights like we have seen in Xinjiang, you develop a bad reputation.

The sad part is that when I meet many people from China, they are indeed clueless about their country's bad reputation, they are clueless as to how to interact or communicate with people of other cultures and don't seem to care about how horrible China's reputation is.

It impacts anybody with an Asian face in this world because China has such a shitty reputation. Although you can say that a lot of it is US propaganda, a lot of it isn't. It stems from many disgusting habits that deeply ignorant and stupid people in China keep practicing. Unless the government stomps down on these people and control their behavior, China's reputation will just keep getting worse.

Trust me, the cultural practices that many deeply ignorant Chinese peasants have are far more revolting to most of the world than the cultural practices that Americans have. Southern China has the most sub-cultures that eat anything that moves. Provinces like Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, etc. Even in those provinces, most people only eat normal meats, particularly young urban dwellers, but in the rural areas, there are many sub-cultures that eat anything.

Strangely, normally people in Hubei where the outbreak occurred do not have that reputation but maybe the market where the virus came from catered to some sub-group that do eat strange animals.
