My friend we build Last F-22P (aslat) at home , so if we are getting 4 Type 54, than i am sure PN will insist at least one to be built in Karachi ship yard .

I hope, if we buy 4, at least two are built at KS&EW while two in China in parallel to accelerate the delivery.

China can easily build 2 of these Type 54A in just 2 years .. for us it will take time .

Why on the Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto...There is no project for submarines and frigate while we need them urgently... Why don't we have some project for a few destroyers, corvettes..why?

To quote a teacher of mine: "The answer, as with most with most things in life is money. What's your question?"

These projects are comppicated both from a logistics stanpoint and financial standpoint. As we know there is a submarine project in the pipeline, however, workers need to be trained which is why the first examples will be built in China, then assembly will shift to KSEW. There is a potential corvette project, but no deal has yet been signed. Then there are issues with manning these many vessels that also need to be figured out.

I know about its role but I'm of the opinion that KS&EW should dedicate all its resources on building hi-tech and larger frigates that cost much more. These boats can either be directly bought from the market ...China, S. Korea, Spain, Turkey, Netherlands etc or make a dedicated suitable scale facility that focusses on making such patrol boats.

PNS direly needs large frigates and those are expensive, prone to sanctions and embargoes etc...That's the area we need to focus.

You are right sir, KS should has to go for larger ships, frigates and also has to work about destroyers .............. but all these matters can't be done without three necessary ingredients
1. Fully Support of Government
2. Availability of Necessary funds
3. Leadership vision, to do something for country

but there is just one we have today, that's point three

coast guard ships are not gonna enter in war i have yet to see a coast guard ship loaded with heavy weapons

Not true at all. The MSA and is the maritime arm of a national police force. Think of them as the naval equivalent to the frontier corps or Rangers. They police Pakistans maritime territory...not just the coast and ports (that is the job of the coast guard). They also need to police the EEZ and to do that you need range. For range you need, in most cases, size. Hence 4 600t and one 1500t cutters and opvs. They will give good flexibility to the PMSA.
