Darawat Dam site is located at about 70 Km West of Hyderabad and 135 Kms from East of Karachi, across Nai Baran River near Jhangri village in Jamshoro District of Sindh Province.

The main Dam structure has been completed, only the irrigation network remains to be completed according to Wapda website. The dam will irrigate 25000 acres of barren land in Sindh province.
