He need not be an open proponent of this culture to be part of it. Also, this particular event could well be the doing of individuals rather than him. However, if the question you're asking is broader, all forms of VIP-ness need to be considered, including protocols and the sort.

I dont watch channels so I cant say if i agree or disagree with you, but how do you know they didnt show Multan news that day and preferred Imran news instead. beside in the news business there are logistic issues some channels get at location before other, some cant but they still have to fill the screen. If they purposely decided to not show Multan incident and instead kept showing Ms. PTI news than thats sad, not the end of the world since there are 100 other channels showing it. Yet this is still news worthy that Mother of PTI caused beating to some poor guy, whose husband wants to end the culture of VIPs and bring justice for all.

But butt hurt patwaris, jiyalas and namaloom afraad jump on this to bash PTI as if PTI provided protocol or PTI is running police and special forces in Punjab!

Once again, this is an example of Punjab police and its disregard for the average Pakistani citizen.

I know coz I was searching on the net when someone opened the thread about it....I searched and found GEO and another channel (didnt recognize it) as the only 2 which reported it...after few hrs a few others chimmed in but Dunya news wasnt showing it...It prob did later, but at least when the news was hot it wasnt on their channel at all- unless I missed it...but since I was on both thread it was really annoying that this channel preferred this over the Multan incident?!
