I think creating a good base is the best way for the L&Ts, TATAs, Mahindras, etc, etc. right now.

Now, if they continue to do this in a decade, okay.

Only integrator/manufacturer Indian defence has had was OFB, HAL, MDLs, etc.. Now, there are several companies giving them some competition - L&T, TATA, Mahindra, Reliance, etc, etc. Only a pretty recent phenomena that TATAs, L&Ts, etc. want to pop out APCs, eventually MBTs, Corvettes, etc. Competition is only good, right?

Gr8, now like Samsung smart phone we have we can have smart gun systems too. I bet they can interface those guns with ur phone to make something like "GroupFire" !!! Next thing u know Nokia is pitching in for artillary shells !!
