They don't, they want Pakistan involved in the ground invasion, but they know that they can't afford to push Pakistan when it refuses something. They'll accept it, but they won't like it.
Defence minister is saying they want jets and ships. As long as there are no boots on ground, it should be acceptable to military, so as to keep KSA "happy".
Otherwise i don't think Pak gets military aid from KSA. It is mostly civilian aid, and i think its the civilian leadership, that is pushing for military intervention. So as to abide by the "duty of defending the territorial sovereignty of KSA". Someone please ask these leaders from where the hell do they have the threat of overrunning the desert. The yemenese are fighting their internal war, and they have not given a slightest of hint of going beyond their borders.
Now if they want pak to get involved in ground invasion to over through someone they don't like. Then the more pak stay away from this political tug of war, the better.
