Krishna Leela Temple Bangalore

 Mongrels aren't so easy to get rid of. The Doc must've hired some supari killers.

Couldn't agree more with you on that.

ps: I don't cook non-veg. I eat them only if they're already cooked by someone. Invite me when you're done. :D

You're half a manvanturuti yourself, this is one thing I don't appreciate, any fellow (aside from a child) who has never "felled" an animal for food with his own hands should avoid meat.

I AM Lord Manvan's apprentice. My good Lord, just before he was banned by the treacherous mods, entrusted me with continuing his good work.

I have never felled a radish or carrot either, but I regularly eat them.

cant comment on religious point of view but Bangalore could use some more landmarks , look's apretty nice ...

Dunno about monuments, but Bangalore has a lot of work to do in order to regain it's epithet in spirit. The Garden City today has only 0.1 tree per person, while Gandhinagar has 4 trees per person. Vegetation cover has declined from 68% in 1973 to 23% in 2012.:(
Just 0.1 trees per person: study - The Hindu

Namby pamby hippi! Even a hedonistic douche like me has worked in the fields back in that which was once Magadh.

BAPS is richer than ISKCON I think they build grander temples in the west from London to Canada, I prefer BAPS more as they are more authentic in my view but I attend the ISKCON temple for Lord Krishna's birthday in Watford where over 50,000 attend every year.

Thing I do not like or agree with about ISKCON is the pushiness of giving leaflets and approaching others on the street, this concept is alien to Dharmic religions and comes from the Abrahamic faiths like Christianity, Islam etc.

Oh, i've worked in the fields and plantations too...Just that we didn't grow carrots and radishes at that time of the year.:agree:

yeah they are into open proselytizing which is so weird.
Anyway, these organization do whatever they want to do with their money, who am I suppose to oppose, although I find the idea of such big temple vulgar and avoidable.
I do like swaminarayan temples though for some reason.

millions of hindus dont go to iskon temples, at least in India. Its not that popular. Half of the people go just to eat in their restuarant.. :)

But I mean in Square feet it will have to be pretty big the temple and it's grounds it can't be a small temple for sure. I went to the Govinda restaurant in Soho where the ISKCON temple is and the food is pretty good. I see many gora there also eating there.

But compare this to the BAPS temple in New Delhi that is huge!

ok big area but why such massive tall structure, its usually to show off.

I like it grand and tall but that's me :D because look at St Paul Cathedral in London there used to be a building law where you would not be allowed to build anything higher than this or block the view but now we have mega skyscrapers in central London.

They wanted to create a icon which would be visible from far, I mean why would you want a small temple that is not unique or grand? I like it big, tall and grand :agree:

This is nothing the one ISKCON are constructing called the Vedic Planetarium is a monster! a true mega structure I can't wait till it's finished it will be built to last for a 1000 yrs :enjoy:

I did not want to quote you, but your posts are provocative enough.

Even if the entire complex is created and run with zero jobs created, it is NOT their duty to create jobs.

It is not mandated that any time any money is used by any human being, a job must be created.
And no, you are NOT free to criticize how people spend their own private money regardless of whether jobs are created or not.

Lastly, I point out again, maybe the people of the region felt that there was need for a temple. You have no locus-standi on the issue.

@he-man ... I believe here people don know what Iskcon Bangalore is doing for the betterment of people's life and for the poor students , without asking anyone's name and religion.... I went their several time , and I saw them what environment they are giving to the people.

Here people will get some idea

Distinguished speak about Akshaya Patra and ISKCON Temple Bangalore
