'Kill Them. They Are Muslims': Family of 10 Beaten With Iron Rods Inside Train

The other Indian bhai arguing with me in another thread calls this democracy and an expression of protest. He can't seem to differentiate rioting lynching mobs and protest.

What Indians are doing is cute compared to what Chinese are doing in xinjiang. Stop pin pointing India, muslims everywhere are facing the same and even worse, including in China, where they are not even allowed t keep Ramdan fasting.

In China, the government controls their activities to reduce terrorist threats, our public don't lynch them. There is a big difference.

How exactly did we kill a cancer patient? That's why I am saying, this is the best example of Indian democracy, cow squads and lynching mobs. It's the will of the people afterall right?

The real eye opener is that among the Indian Jacobs and Showstoppers and Padamchens here, there are a few Hindus like Baajey as well.

Let us not only speak of the negatives. Our people are a sum total greater than the narrow hateful bigotry on display off late, here and elsewhere.

There is always hope as long as there are a few good men willing to fight back.

Cheers, Doc

True. Secularism itself wouldn't have gained a hold in this country if not for nominally Hindu visionaries. The Constituent Assembly debates contain testimony to that.

BTW even I am what would be considered a Hindu for the purposes of ethnic cleansing. I realized a long while back that my personal views on religion would not save me from the fate of the herd, just as non-religious Jews were not saved from the Holocaust. The mob will not ask me my personal views on these issues, be it India, Pakistan or Europe. Better there be no mobs.

Now you are laughing after killing a Noble peace prize winner.
Enough said about the depravity.

We don't lynch them, we kill them if they are terrorist. We don't have cow squads patrolling the streets.

They are killed even on mere suspicion of terrorism, that's worse

That's just a drop in the ocean,we will get a real picture when China gets free media. My bet is situation is even worse than Kashmir in Xinjiang

Partially right.
India could not be secular if Hindus did not want it to be secular.
Similarly no muslim country is secular for the same reason - they don't want it to be secular.

In India, the secular aspect of Hindus have been used to abuse us repeatedly, all the while drilling a hole in the secular theory by wilful blindness to genocide of Pandits.

The fork tongue is not going to work.

India is secular because Hindus want it that way. It will be secular forever because we will keep it that way.

You do know they are giving out Nobel peace prize like hot cakes right? Next it might be a Mujaheddin if it serve CIA interest. You still haven;t answer me, how exactly did we kill a cancer patient given the best medical treatment in the country. You think the average Chinese give a fk about this guy? Nobody even knows him until the Western media onslaught.

They are killed even on mere suspicion of terrorism, that's worse

That's how efficient we are, we suspect there are terrorist, we kill them, just like the Indians in Kashmir. =). But we don't tie them to the front of the vehicle as human shield. That's pathetic.
So how exactly is this a crazy mob lynching innocent Muslims?

Religious intolerance. Persecution of minorities. A narrow religious identity to the exclusion of historical and civilizational plurality. A confluence of temple and the state. A suspicious hateful fragmented populace.

Add to that compulsive fake news and social media disinformation, erosion of institutions by foisting sub-standard political appointees, total callousness about the consequences of military belligerence (even nuclear war) and undermining of democracy by belief in strongman rule.

It is difficult for someone who has lived in big cities all their life to understand what things really are like in the country. Whenever I live in India, I usually stay in Delhi, Bangalore or Kolkata. Sometimes I end up going to Jharkhand or larger NCR and it is only then that I see the real face of India. And it doesn't look good.

There were two groups of People who voted for Modi. The rabid lunatics, and the vast majority who believed in "sabka saath sabka vikaas". Rest assured, if Modi does not rein in the lunatics, he will be routed out in 2019. I believe in Indian democracy. When the media was going gaga over "Shining India" in 2004, India quietly booted out BJP.

Yeah I have some faith in the political pragmatism of the Indian voter. However, there is a significant undercurrent at play today that was not there in 2004 - social media disinformation. Majority of the country does not get its news from mass media. It seems to be running on WhatsApp and Facebook rumours. What alternate reality can be spun in the confines of these two, we have to wait and see.
