I always wonder how come TTP never thought of using Armor piercing bullets? It would had made Army task a whole lot difficult While Terrorists in Karachi used it like they purchased it in wholesale.

A high caliber or AP round will pierce through an M113 as well (Lyari op).

AFAIK they blasted through the bottom of the APC when it was stuck..... And yes, I don't may not know about the department but there is certainly something which I know and neglecting B-1 or B-7 (which article clearly never mention, so I don't know from where did he get the technical ideas), the clear wording goes
