Khalistan flag raised at session court Moga Punjab India

In this special day

There was another meeting of Jinnah with some notable Sikh leaders like Maharaja of Patiala, Hardit Singh, Master Tara Singh and Giani Kartar Singh. Hardit Sing recalls:

“Jinnah started by saying that he was very anxious to have the Sikhs agree to Pakistan and he was prepared to give them everything that they wanted, if they could accept Pakistan. I said to him, “Mr Jinnah you are being very generous, but we would like to know exactly what our position will be.” Jinnah retorted, saying “you will have a Government, you will have a Parliament and you will have Defence forces, what part will the Sikhs have in all these.” He further said, “are you familiar with what happened in Egypt? I will deal with the Sikhs as Zaghlul Pasha dealt with the Copts (the Christian minority) when Egypt became independent.” He then went on to tell us the story. According to Jinnah, the Copts when they first met Zaghlul Pasha put forward some demands. After listening to them he advised them to go back, think the whole thing over and come to see him again with a paper incorporating all their demands. They did this. Zaghlul Pasha took the paper from them and without reading it wrote on it “I agree.” Mr Jinnah added, “That is what I will do with the Sikhs.”

Hardit Singh further recalls, “this put us in an awkward position. We were determined not to accept Pakistan under any circumstances and here was the Muslim Leader offering us everything. What to do?”

Then I had an inspiration and I said, “Mr Jinnah, you are being very generous. But supposing, God forbid, you are no longer there when the time comes to implement your promise?”

“His reply was astounding”. He said, “My friend, my word in Pakistan will be like the word of God. No one will go back on it.”

Hardit recalls, “there was nothing to be said after this and the meeting ended.”
Among all of them Tara Singh no doubt was a traitor .Changed his religion from Hindu to Sikh just to betray sikhs. That's how the clever minds of brahmins worked against sikhs.

THe Khalsa flag is a religious flag too.

Not necessarily meaning a political symbol. I believe you are reading too much into this.

Many flags in Indian Punjab have the Khalsa signs emblems, as they are on bikes, tshirts and so on.
On any official government building or institution it's the Indian flag which is allowed and can be seen normally. Raising a khalsa flag means something very different and it serves the purpose of khalistan.Khalsa and Khalistan is essentially the same thing.

True.

Khalsa represents international Sikh brotherhood that is fighting for the creation of Khalistan carved out of India.

No it does not. You can be a Khalsa without wanting Khalistan.

Like I said, the ignorance here about Sikhs is mind blowing.

Amritsar: Pro-Khalistan slogans were raised by Sikh hardliners in the Golden Temple complex here on the 36th anniversary of Operation Blue Star on Saturday.

Around 100 activists led by Imaan Singh Mann, son of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president and former MP Simranjit Singh Mann, raised the slogans at the Akal Takht — the highest temporal seat of Sikhs.

‘Parallel Jathedar’ of Akal Takht Dhian Singh Mand, who entered the premises with the Mann-led group, addressed the gathering.

Members of Sikh hardliner outfit Damdami Taksal along with Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) officials honoured the families of those who were killed during Operation Blue Star, which was carried out in 1984 to flush out heavily-armed terrorists holed up in the Golden Temple.

The main programme to honour such families was organised by the Akal Takht.

Addressing the gathering, Giani Harpreet Singh said the Sikh community will always remember the unhealed wounds of Operation Blue Star.

There was heavy barricading by police around all entry points to the Golden Temple.

Due to entry restrictions in view of the coronavirus pandemic, not more than 1,000 people gathered at the shrine. Usually more than one lakh people visit the shrine on this day every year.

Earlier in the day, there was a minor scuffle between policemen and the group led by Maan as they were initially denied entry inside the Golden Temple. Maan sustained a foot injury during the scuffle.

Later, the group was allowed entry following intervention of senior police officers present on the spot.

It is you who needs to read history.

Sikhs and Muslims love each other and have always had cordial relationship.

Sikh Kings had Muslims as their commanders and vice-versa.

Both Sikhs and Muslims hate Hindus. Sikhs hate Hindus hence killed Indira Gandhi.

You perhaps don't know how politics works at the local level. This really is nothing. You are desperately trying to attach more meaning to this than it warrants.

There are BJP flags, Bahujan flags, SS flags etc for various reasons. This truly is nothing. But if you wish to dream of an allied Khalsa nation assisting Muslims in defeating India - pls continue to do so.

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. What do I need to digest?
