Kawasaki Heavy, Mitsubishi to supply train cars for Dhaka project

.
even the trains that Indian facilities designed and built completely match the best in the world in their class. those that build for Indian rail are ones like Bombardier, again top class in the world. You should probably talk less.
Yes, I am talking less. I repeat what I said before. Even if we say that the trains made in India are shoddy, it does not matter if these were manufactured locally. This is what BD is incapable to do, and the way things are run in BD, say, without even organizing efficient private companies, it is not yet possible here to build complex train coaches.

MSME industry needs to be allowed to flourish so there is groundwork for large manufacturing of transport to easily get established later (be it automotive, rail, earth mover, tractor etc). A bold reform by BD govt would be to give a complete tax holiday for a decade for such industry (so they can appropriately plan long term)...but instead they are looking to increase tax rate severalfold on even the small ones that have sprung up involving CKD SKD assembly (it got vetoed I think eventually but damage is done as far as optics)....what message does that send to entrepeneurs and any V.C looking to set something up in this sector?

Hence you will be forced to import long term, nearly everything beyond a certain complexity. There is cutthroat competition in investment in these industries worldwide, and BD is nowhere near playing even the A-game it can generate.

You clown, how does this Hyundai- BEML JV product look bad...

in comparison to this 1980s Japanese stock ?

Majority (99%) of Indian commuter trains look like these (no point in showing how the one percent in India lives), reality is what it is......

Mumbai metro trains are even worse.....and deadly. Ten people die every day on the city’s rail network.

We are comparing metro rolling stock here. As for commuter trains go, they are being replaced by faster DMU/EMUs with decent interiors

Those are suburban (local), not metro. They will be replaced with new rakes with automated doors as a part of Mumbai Urban Transport Project.

It's silicon foam seats used everywhere

The word to use is 'Silicone', not 'Silicon'.
LOL...bongs crying about Indian standards as though they are richer and more developed than Australians.

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com...coaches-to-australia/articleshow/50770327.cms

Just import everything you worthless BD dolts...and then cry why your realised consumption is so low and the project cost (even after what BAL goons and bureaucrat thugs take for their baksheesh) is astronomically high.

You are not a producer nation, never will be....fundamentally why Dhaka will stay in the 0 - 5% percentile of liveable cities, with or without a metro system and other exhorbitant bandaid measures (because they simply do not strive for long term economies of scale neither do they fundamentally address the underlying problem of a disgusting blistering craphole that is Dhaka).

:blah:

I guess we should be following these livability standards....

Just who is that unattractive woman in your avatar?

Thanks in advance.

That's a Canadian (BC) Indian transplant, her name is Navpreet Banga, a Priyanka Chopra lookalike. If you don't like anyone's looks, paper bags are available to put over their head. Or turn them over. :-)

I don't understand the hoopla about over-made-up Indian actresses anyway, I guess that's how Indian men like them, all tarted up. Talent is where it's really at.

By seeing the real photographs of Indian trains and passengers, I can attest that India is far more developed than Europe and Japan. Rather, the latter should follow the Indian example to re-develop their countries. India is indeed a super power.

Instead of talking big why do not your people start developing your country? Do not you fuys feel ashamed by the progress the countries like Malaysia and Thailand made? Hollow talking does not make a country great. You have remained a shame to South Asia.

Sure,it's not like India is ahead of BD & PK in HDI or GDP per capita, or that we are growing at more than 7%, or that we are the largest destination of greenfield FDI, or that we are building huge industrial corridors/highwys/railways/urban rapid transit/power stations/electricity grid...oh wait

It's funny to see someone from a LDC dump criticizing the pace of development in India...

You have remained a shame to South Asia.

You mean pole vaulting to Europe & competing with war torn nations in that ?

Instead of talkin of future progress, show us the progress at hand. India should now have been at least at par with Thailand and Malaysia. You do not have to compare India with BD.

What tense did I use in that post ?

Misplaced shiny stickers, bright opposing colours and lights is considered attractive to them, this is how gareeb people think. I mean just look how they dress.
Lool, Bangladesh is poor, there is no confusion about it. But, Indians making fun of Bangladesh for being poor is just hilarious. Don't you guys know India got more poverty than whole Africa!

And the person in your DP dressed and posed like an Indian prostitute...
