what do you expect from puppet of india Hamid Karzai ...but he still behaves like he is a president of Afghanistan . the fact of the matter is he was a dictator and puppet .

Terrorism is a menace we all need to eliminate together. But Afghanistan does not trust us and neither do we trust Afghanistan. Both regions are a sheltering place for militants attacking the other. If our problem is with the Pakistani Taliban operating in Afghanistan and carrying out attacks with the tacit approval of the Afghan government we are also unfortunately the home of Hekmatyar, Bahawal Khan, Haqqani and Gul Bahadur.

I think this deal helps both countries but Karzai is intent on ensuring that the 2 countries remain on aggressive postures, horns locked. Perhaps we should never have involved ourselves in the Afghan war.

Agreed. Both Afghanistan and Pakistan will have to work together and develop trust to eliminate militant groups.

If Afghans do not go through with this deal it will be entirely their loss.

Karzai, who stepped down in September last year after serving as the longest president, has no official position in the national unity government. However, reports suggest he is regularly giving advice to the leadership.
Just 1 question: Is it 1 sided advice?
