Two apartments in the same block! That screws me by Rs 10,000 per month.And the irony is I don't even stay there!! Jeeez!

That is true. But I would love to see his face when he has to subsidise his Neighbours flat with his money
The govt. instead of building homes for the poor is asking the citizens to do that instead and make them his neighbours
Not to sound elitist, but let me tell you a true story.
I had a Neighbour/friend who has purchased a flat in an apartment in Mumbai which had come up in an slum redevelopment project. As the saying goes, you can take a man out of the slum, but you cannot take the slum out of the man.
The slum dwellers who got the free apartments used to harass the new owners who actually had to pay for the flats. They used to throw garbage into the corridor........ and since they were used to living with limited water supply, they were jealous that now everybody was getting continuous water supply, so they used to lock up the water supply and impose an artificial water shortage in the apartment
Needless to say, the children got exposed to a healthy doze of violence and swear words. His daughter used to get eve teased and hated staying there.
Now imagine this happening in Bangalore.
They will not respect the flats since they have not worked hard for it
