I think it also has something to do with their younger generation growing up relatively insulated from Pakistan, but not from India. To them, whatever happened in 1971 was in the past and does not influence them any more. But conflicts with India over political intervention, border deaths, water sharing etc are ongoing problems which serve to antagonize India in their eyes.

As an Indian though, it's none of my business who Bangladeshis support and who they don't.
