HQ-9 (probably it's export version) was tested by PAF in 2013. I don't know if those launchers are still in Pakistan or were sent back. But, a deal is in advanced stages or it has been already signed. CPMIEC officials met PM Nawaz in May this year and offered an AD system (probably HQ-9 as Pakistan has already acquired several FM-90 and LY-80 systems).

They are expensive for Pakistan as one system costs around US$ 300 million. That's the reason this acquisition was postponed in 2013.

LR-SAMs are very expensive as compared to MR-SAMs. China is getting six S-400 systems for USD 3 billion. Wonder how many systems the 'kangaal' govt. of Pakistan can buy for PAF.
