What's new

Kal bhi Bhutto Zinda tha, Aaj bhi Bhutto Zinda hai !

And an Internet warrior calls bhuttos haramkhor . Zulfiqar ali bhutto was not sitting in bulletproof container , nor was benazir bhutto . Benazir lived in jail not tanker before going out . She came even after everyone knew her life is in danger . IF IK sidekicks cannot respect that they should not say anything else .
IK gives all his speeches openly without standing behind bulletproof glass unlike Noora Sharif.

PTI trolls make IK worse than he really is .
IK is the worst. Just admit it.

Have you seen the Bilawal house in Karachi? Do you know how many security vehicles were with him on his road trip to the flood affected areas? Do you know the reason why he's standing in the water? And furthermore, please refrain from such comments 'PTI trolls make IK worse than he really is'. Honestly you are in no position to be commenting stuff like that.
Exactly. Its same old pipliya crap.

In 1977 when ZAB govt. was toppled
Any idea why ZAB was toppled in the first place? That's right, for committing widespread rigging in first ever election that happened under his supervision:
Pakistani general election, 1977 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ZAB was undoubtedly hanged in a 'judicial murder'. He went down to the gallows with head unbowed.
Same was about to happen to Noora in 2000 until he was saved by his powerful Saudi friends.

Comparing what they went through with this ultimately protected Prince Imran Khan is a joke. Even Prince Bilawal has to live constantly in fear of his life--another 'pre-poll rigging in making'.
Exactly. They must have done something very bad in the past for being afraid of their lives 24/7. Why won't terrorists hit IK? Even mercenaries can be hired to kill him by Noora. What's taking so long? They all know it will be civil war in Pakistan if IK was killed during his protests.

... ultimately protected Prince Imran Khan ???

Yes. Imran Khan is immune from the actions he has been taking. I have a feel even if he shuts down some major airport even then he could get away with that in the name of 'political right' etc BS.

That is the problem.............that Bhutto abhi bhi Zinda hai.

It will take at least 30 years for Bhutto to die. After that, it will take another 10 years for his minions to wake up from coma and realize that they are living in the year 1847.

This immunity you are talking about is synonym with Imran? other politicians are susceptible?

He will never die in Sindh for it is not about Bhutto but about Sindhi Bhutto. In other provinces, yes, he is pretty much gone.

Imran is far more immune than other politicians for his actions. IK can get away with a lot more than other politicians--ANY other politician in Pakistan. Heck, even the Talibans like IK!

No, that is not correct. He is no more immune than Zardari, or Nawaz, or Shahbaz, or Asfand, or Achakzai, or any other thief aka politician.

Well then we will just have to agree to disagree on this point like on many other points. I stand by my statement that even if IK were to shut down a major airport in the name of 'civil disobediance' then either he is going to get a mere slap on his wrist or will be allowed another graceful exit from that. And, looking at IK's desperation (tomorrow is another D-Day!), he is hell bent on provocations and so the airport thuggery can't be ruled out.
I don't think other politicians--especially from the minority provinces--will find the Khakhis so tolerant of their actions.

Nawaz has been doing all this, from attacking the Supreme Court to getting his men escaped/released from the Police stations, and he and his men always got away. In Pakistan, anybody with few thousand supporters could get away with everything. Just pick up the newspapers between 2007-2010 and you'll learn the new meanings (or perhaps remember) of thuggery. What IK is doing is nothing new in Pakistan, it has all been done by every other politician.

I totally agree with you that NS got a lot of freedom against Zardari. I never supported NS's actions then. To me he and his brothers were thugs. But then, it was a Punjabi politician going against a Sindhi Prime Minister.

All that said, the freedom IK is enjoying right now cannot be enjoyed by NS. The ethnic dimensions of these things are being noticed by many political observers in Pakistan--even Hamid Mir--a Punjabi himself--mentioned this in one of his articles (as posted by @SBD-3 recently).

The ISPR release after 30 August storming of the state buildings spoke of 'neutrality' even in the context of the aggravation of PAT/PTI; NS has fallen out of favor lately. IK is the blue eyed boy! Prince Imran Khan!
Anyway, we shall see soon how far IK is allowed to go... If the rumors are true that only renegade (and retiring) officials were behind the marches then it is curtains for the marches if they try to escalate too far this time. We shall see...

In 1977 when ZAB govt. was toppled, the PPP was anti-American. Very much. To this day there are PPP jiyalas who blame the Zia coup on Americans (the then upcoming turmoil in Afghanistan). But they are wrong. Anyway, Benazir Bhutto was a young recent graduate but she chose to confront the most brutal of all Pakistani dictators head on. She and her mother--as well as her party leaders/jiyalas suffered a lot over several years. Despite all her faults later, even her detractors give her credit for her courage. It is true that in mid-80's the Americans finally became soft on her but in most of her career she had no protection.

I maybe wrong but I am convinced that a bloody revolution is only option. Change will not come through peaceful electoral process. Sab haramzadey miley hoowey hein, politicians, mullah, judiciary, military, media all of them, each one of them.

This is very true. people are dying of floods, every year, and they go down there for photo sessions, baisharam log hain yeh.. inki mentality french princess jesi ho chuki hai.. they know not what awaits them.. half of me thinks PTI will fail, the way ruling status quo has resisted reforms, the only option left is bloody massacre of these 5000 people !
