Are India-Pakistan marriages usually UK/US/Dubai/Saudi types or are there still people on the mainland who actually marry across the border?

Discount Shoaib and Sania because they are international sportsmen.

No one marries across the border or maybe those who have relatives on the other side of the border

Thanks. That was actually my next question though I did not know how to put it across diplomatically without being accused of trolling.

Is it mainly muhajir to Indian marriages only?

Cheers, Doc

Average Pakistanis in Europe are marrying people of various backgrounds. In UK it's very common to see Pakistanis marrying Indian muslim or Bangladeshis.

I don't think it is at all. I can literally count on one hand how many times Pakistanis have married other S.Asian cultures (nothing wrong Islamically of course), boy or girl. Even according to stats Pakistanis are the second most inward marrying community among all South Asian groups, I believe it is 9% who marry outside, nearly all men, I'd say even lower.

White British (4%) were least likely to be in inter-ethnic relationships, followed by Bangladeshi (7%), Pakistani (9%) and Indian (12%) ethnic groups

Please man.

That was mainly the Sharjah era thanks to our Muslim captain.

No polite politically correct way (or need) to say that. Absolute disgrace he was to nation and community.

Cheers, Doc

I don't know I said that those people who have relatives across the border who were separated in 1947 those maybe marrying
But I don't think any Pakistani except these celebaraties or overseas Pakistanis has married any Indian man or woman because most of the people don't marry outside their extended family

I have no issues with Muslims whatsoever.

My best friend is a Muslim.

My first girlfriend was a Muslim.

My best friend in school was a Muslim.

Cheers, Doc

There used to be a girl here who was married to a Pakistani.

There was a senior guy at PAF who was married to an Indian.

So it cannot be that uncommon ...

GUJRANWALA: Pakistan star bowler Hasan Ali is reportedly tying the knot with an Indian girl, media reports say Tuesday.

According to close family sources of the cricketer, Hasan's 'Nikah' ceremony is expected to be held on August 20 at a Dubai hotel while his rukhsati will take place sometime in 2020.

"Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali is set to tie the knot with an Indian girl Shamia Arzoo on August 20. Shamia belongs to Haryana and is currently working with an airline," Indian journalist Navneet Mundhra tweeted.

According to sources, the Pakistani pacer fell in love with India's Shamia Arzoo during the ICC World Cup 2019.

It is reported that Arzoo is an engineer by profession working currently in Dubai.

With his matrimonial union, Hasan Ali will become the fourth Pakistani cricketer to marry an Indian girl.

Prior to this, Shoaib Malik married Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza in 2010.

In addition, legendary Pakistani batsmen Zaheer Abbas and Mohsin Khan also tied the knot with women belonging to India.
