Financial corruption, which really is theft, is not a capital offence i.e. punishable by death. Now, if it can be proven beyond doubt that it resulted in someone's death, then that's a different story.Will it be in accordance to Quran and Sunnah?
I doubt that it would be a blanket law that would award death for any kind of corruption. That would be unjust and quite ridiculous.
Without details it is impossible to know if it is in line with the shariah. The devil is in the details.
In any case, it is highly unlikely to ever pass.
