We can do nothing when your govt. is nothing to do. We have given all proofs to GOP. If they don't act thats upto you. We also gave proofs to UN, and they did banned it.

Either you are not reading news or you are just ignoring it. Govt of India has provided several time those dossiers. But as I said if you are willing to do, do it and not then let us know so we don't expense on the xerox copy.

I have received a few complaints about this thread, and have only read a the first page or so, so let me point something out to everyone.

The JuD has been designated a terrorist organization by the GoP and UN (regardless of whether we agree with the decision or the process used to arrive at it), and open expression of support for the JuD is not allowed on this forum as a matter of policy. Commend its relief efforts in this disaster, but at the same time also recognize and point out that it is not acceptable for the organization to openly function they way it is doing right now, and that the GoP needs to pass laws to prevent other entities like TV and newspapers from carrying its adverts or anything supporting it or its activities.

That said, non-Pakistanis need to understand that the priority for the GoP at the current time is not going to be cracking down on banned organizations providing aid, no matter how much that may rankle, given that magnitude of the disaster facing Pakistan. Every resource needs to be directed towards assisting those in need. But loopholes, such as newspapers or other entities running JUD ads or hosting rallies without consequence, need to be closed in the long run.

Kindly update yourself ..As Arihant said plenty of dossiers were given to your government and David headly also given statement about the involvement of LeT..so stop talking non sense .

JuD claims to have received donations from UK

Amid global concerns that terrorists may take advantage of the devastating floods in Pakistan, the Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), blamed by India [ Images ] for the Mumbai [ Images ] attacks, has claimed that it has received donations for the deluge-hit people from "hundreds" of British-Muslims. The JuD, which acts as a front for the Lashkar-e-Tayiba [ Images ] that carried out the 2008 strikes in Mumbai leaving 166 people dead, is said to have significant support in the UK, The Sunday Times reported.

Atteeq Chohan, a JuD spokesman in Peshawar, said: "Hundreds of individuals from the Muslim community in Britain are contributing to our relief activities for flood-hit people in Pakistan." His remarks follow a warning by John Kerry, Chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, that terrorists may take advantage of the worst floods in Pakistan in 80 years to increase their weight.

Besides, the international community is worried that extremists are trying to win support on the ground by delivering aid to the victims. Chohan claimed that the JuD was helping 35,000 flood victims and had more than 3,000 aid workers in 69 relief camps and 150 medical centres across the country. Khalid Mahmood, the British Labour MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, said: "There are at least 500 JuD activists operating in the UK, collecting money at mosques. A bucket will go around marked 'Pakistan Appeal', and people will put money in not knowing where it is really going."

Activists in Pakistan are also targeting British donors via Facebook, the report said. The unprecedented deluge in Pakistan has soaked one fifth of its land, killed more than 1,500 people and impacted an estimated population of 20 million with around 6 million in need of emergency aid, which included 3.5 million children.

JuD is not an internal matter..its a terrorist organization banned by UN..so every one should be worried if they dare to advertise for money for what ever reason..It can be easily presented as the lack of Pakistan government willingness to take action against a terrorist organisation..

Big deal - JuD would change its name from JuD to JaD (Lashkar-e-Toiba ---> Lashkar-e-Taiba--->Jamaat-ud-Dawa) and continue its operations like nothing ever happened.

As for the hypocrisy part - india does not have freedom-fighter training camps in its part and pushes them across whenever it gets the chance,nor does it arm ten men to go on a rampage in Karachi.

Why not..?? I support such a move..

But along with them send Syed Salahuddin,Massod Azhar,Hafiz sayed and Zaki-ur-Rahman Lakhvi so that we can investigate their roles also in the deaths of innocent kashmiri civilians and other Indians elsewhere.

16 relief camps of banned outfits closed down in KP

PESHAWAR – The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has practically launched a crackdown against the banned outfits collecting donations and carrying out relief activities in the flood-hit areas of the Province.
After imposing a ban on the relief activities of the non-registered non-governmental organisations few days back, the KP Government started an operation against the banned religious organisations and so far 16 relief camps established by these organisations had been closed down.
These relief camps were established in Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Swat,
Dir, DI Khan, Shangla and other flood-affected districts.

Sources informed TheNation that these banned outfits also include Jamaat-ud-Dawah and its relief camps had been closed down.

Details with regard to closure of 16 relief camps in 22 flood-hit districts of the Province have been sent to the Ministry of Interior by the Provincial Government.

Earlier, bowing down to the international pressure, the Government of Pakistan directed the concerned Provincial Governments for imposing a ban on all kinds of the relief activities being carried out by some banned organisations including JuD. The Provincial Government was ordered to form a taskforce for further action.

The Provincial Government has formed the taskforces led by DIG Mardan, CCPO Peshawar, DIG DI Khan and DIG Malakand. These taskforces will keep an eye on the activities of the banned outfits in the flood-hit areas. A prompt action will be taken, if these outfits establish any camp.
