Falcon Turret

State of the art upgrade to provide generation three capability within a high survivability, low volume turret capable of firing all types of NATO 120 mm smooth bore ammunition. KADDB Collaborative project Falcon is a development for a state of the art, high-survivability, reduced-silhouette turret intended for the upgrade of 105 mm and 120 mm rifled guns equipped into the existing MBTs.

-"The “Falcon” turret mounts the RUAG Defense Systems 120 mm L50 Compact Tank Gun with" autoloader capable of firing all types of NATO standard ammunition. Also mounts the latest generation of thermal imaging surveillance and fire-control system.

-The Falcon Turret offers firepower comparable to the latest generation of MBTs and enables standardization to NATO standard 120 mm smooth-bore ammunition.

-The rate of fire is up to 8 rounds per minute with 3 rounds fired in the first 10 seconds.
11 or 17 ready-rounds can be stowed in the bustle auto-loader. Additional 17 rounds can be stowed below the turret ring. The quantity being subject to the type of hull.

-The turret can mount a stabilized self-defense weapon and sensor systems. Remote operation enables full under armor protection for the operator.

-Digital, ballistic fire control computer with Hunter-killer capability.

-2 axis stabilized independent primary sights.

-360° panoramic commander's video sight.

-3rd Generation thermal imager gunner's video sight.

-Auto-Tracks for both commander and gunner.

The design of the FALCON Turret places the crew below the turret ring and the reduction of turret volume leads to a reduced profile and silhouette so allowing higher protection levels to be achieved for the same mass of armor.

Modular Multipurpose Armor Protection Packets. The turret mounts signature management system and multi spectral screening smoke. It also features the laser-warning device that is designed to give the crew advance warning of a potential enemy engagement, thereby allowing evasive action to be taken and consequently increasing the probability of survival.

Phoenix M60 Upgrade



The Phoenix Project addresses both immediate and emerging operational threats to the M60 Main Battle Tank using a modular and flexible approach to improve shoot-on-the-move capabilities, as well as increased lethality, mobility and survivability. These upgrades are achieved at a low technical and operational risk and at a lower cost.

True shoot-on-the-move capability, day/night target acquisition, and improved first round hit probability are achieved with Raytheon's Integrated Fire Control System (IFCS) upgrade.

Significant improvement in the firepower and lethality of the current M60 platform is achieved through the replacement of the M60 105-mm rifled gun with RUAG land Systems L50 120-mm smooth-bore Compact Tank Gun (CTG).

Improvements in M60 acceleration and cross-country capability are achieved with the mobility upgrade provided by L3 Communications.

Survivability is improved through the addition of the armor protection scheme for both the M60's turret and hull. The protection scheme can be reconfigured to changing threat conditions.

Challenger 1 Upgrade



JAF has Challenger.1 British MBT equipped with 120 mm rifled gun, which fires two-piece ammunition, as the suppliers of two-piece ammunition are diminishing. KADDB has initiated an effort replace their Challenger.1 gun and is viewed as a strategic project that could result in the upgrade of JAF’s required quantity of tanks. By installing a Smooth-bore Gun, that fires new NATO single piece ammunition.

Once it was found Technically Feasible to install a smooth-bore gun, it was decided to improve the overall capabilities of the tank to be comparable with modern tanks. Therefore, the process was started of installing a faster digital Gun/Turret Drives, a new Fire Control System, an Ammunition Storage and Loading system, Display Battle Panels, a Commander’s Panoramic Sight and replacing the Electrical System to meet the Armies new equipments requirements.

The Upgrade Program involves

-Replacing the existing 120-mm rifled barrel with 120-mm smooth bore derived from the FALCON Program.

-Replacing the current Fire Control System with a variant of the Integrated Fire Control System (IFCS) used on the PHOENIX M60A3 MBT

-Replacing the Turret Drive and Stabilization System with an all-Electric Drive and Turret Stabilization System derived from the FALCON Program.

-Upgrading Electrical components and wiring harnesses in the hull compartment area.

-The Upgrade will improve the followings tank general capabilities,

-Long range precision shooting while moving against both stationary and moving targets, by replacing the gun with a lower dispersion gun, installing a digital improved stabilization system and installing an improved fire control system.

-Improvement in range detection/engagement, by installing improved sighting systems, commander’s panoramic sight and improved turret stabilization system.

-Greater tactical agility, by increasing turret acceleration and speed capabilities.

-Increased hit probabilities, by the combined effect of the improved and integrated components.

AL Monjed



Cost-effective re-use of surplus-to-requirement Main Battle Tank

Monjed is a converted recovery vehicle based on the chassis of the decommissioned American battle tank M60A1. The goal was to inexpensively produce a modern recovery vehicle to comply with modernization requirements of armored vehicles.

KADDB Collaborative Project Monjed is an innovative vehicle benefiting from excellent mobility and battle worthiness. It is operated by a crew of three and can carry an additional passenger

Monjed can be used both for recovery and repair of main battle tanks in the field. The vehicle carries a range of repair equipment, including a crane, cutting equipment and air tools. It also has stowage for spare parts and can carry a spare power pack or other major assemblies.

The hydraulically-driven main drum winch has a maximum single line pull of 400 KN ( 41 tons ) at 13 m/min.

Monjed has a multi-purpose blade, which can operate as an earth anchor. The blade withstands a double-revved main winch pull on the casualty of up to (80 tons).

The hydraulically-operated crane is capable of lifting up to (6 tons) power pack. The hydraulics are self contained and powered by the power take-off from the main engine as main system or by the APU as an auxiliary system, this means that the vehicle can change its own power Pack.

Monjed will tow vehicles of up to 60 tons in weight at speeds of up to 30 km/h. Stability is maintained when retarding its load and when towing at low speed.

Scorpion Modernization



Upgrade and Modernization of Scorpion Vehicle

CVR(T) is in world wide service. Al variants including Scorpion and Scimitar are battle proven.

AL Temsah


Cost-effective program, to provide mission-capable, heavily-protected ICVs from surplus to requirement MBTs.

'Temsah' tracked, heavy, Infantry Combat Vehicle ( ICV ), developed by KADDB in cooperation with Mechanology Design Bureau ( MDB ) of South Africa, CLS Jordan and General Dynamics ( USA ). Temsah is designed and fabricated to accommodate surplus-to requirement MBTs major components to provide a mission-capable, multi-configured, heavily-protected ICV that can operate alongside the latest generation MBTs.

-Low silhouette to minimize visual profile without compromising internal height and volume, high hardness ballistic steel to protect the crew-compartment and engine-bay.

-Capable of mounting enhanced reactive armor.

-Front Mounted engine to increase protection in the frontal arc. increase protection in the frontal arc.

-Crew of two (commander/weapons system operator and a driver) and a dismount section of up to 10 men.

-Stowage for combat supplies to enable 48 hours self-support.

-Can be configured as a Tracked Ambulance, Command Post, Artillery and Mortar Howtzer platforms.

-Stabilized Weapon and Reconnaissance Mounting remotely controlled overhead Weapon station.

-Multi-barreled smoke grenade dischargers.

MAP Multi-purpose Armoured Platform


The Multi-purpose Armoured Platform (MAP) is a cost effective conversion from the obsolete Tariq MBT.

The Map solution can be adapted for other tracked platforms as required by the customer.
Concept Demonstrator Models (CDM’s) have been converted to allow user input for final configuration.

The MAP is a heavy tracked, well-armoured vehicle platform, developed jointly by KADDB and Mechanology of South Africa that can fulfil a multi-purpose role in support of armoured formations. The MAP is converted from the vehicle platform of a Tariq MBT, by modifying the hull and reversing the drive on the vehicle. Maximum use is made of Tariq MBT major components and also modernising limited but crucial sub-systems, like electrical and instrumentation.

A driver’s cupola has been designed to provide excellent improved all-round direct vision for the driver.

Concept Demonstrator Models (CDMs) of two versions, closed and open, of the MAP have been built, to demonstrate the potential of the concept.

Due to the flexibility of its layout, the MAP can be configured to different variants for wide ranging applications, from the two CDM versions: MAP Closed Version CDM:

Ferret Rebuild


Rebuild and Dieselisation of Armoured Ferret Scout Car

Being originally British, The Ferret Scout vehicle is a four-wheeled car with all-welded steel body.

The Ferret Scout vehicle has three parts; the front of the hull where the driver sits, the center where the commander is, and the rear where the engine and transmission are.

The vehicle is used in internal security for it is considered handy and fast since it can reach the speed of 93 km / h. It is one of the few AFV’s that is politically accepted to be used on the streets.

The Ferret Scout Vehicle is armoured with 0.3 cal. browing machine gun with new four cylinder Diesel engine.
 
Stallion


The Stallion is a four-wheeled armoured vehicle with an all-welded armoured steel body. The Stallion fits three crew members, a driver sits in front, and two other members that sit behind him. The vehicle has been designed to be used by Peace Keeping Forces, Internal Security and Patrols. It has the ability to carry 50 cal weapon station.

AL JAWAD


The Al Jawad armoured internal security vehicle ( ISV ), comprising of an armoured body and standard Ford F-450 chassis, offering automotive performance, payload and operational capabilities in excess of vehicles currently utilised in many internal security roles. Al Jawad offers high level of ballistic and fragmentation protection to the occupants as standard with higher protection levels available. Large doors enable quick deployment and large bullet-proof glazed areas offer wide fields of vision for the vehicle commander and crew.

RATEL Mark III


The Ratel a six-wheel drive infantry combat vehicle (ICV). the power unit is a water -cooled, straight 6, turbocharged diesel engine which is coupled, via a drop down and main gearbox to the three differentials. the vehicle is an armour plate construction and reinforced to carry turrets. the hull is of an armour plate welded construction, which protects the crew against 7,62 mm ammunition fired from a distance of 30 m. The vehicle has a high performance under normal driving conditions. the suspension system and overall construction enables the vehicle to reliably transverse rugged terrain with minimum discomfort to the driver and the crew.

A low-cost, multi-purpose utility vehicle with outstanding off-road performance, the Desert Ranger is a dual-wheel drive motorbike optimised for Middle East applications.

SEEKER SB7L-360A


SEEKER SB7L-360A from Seabird Aviation Jordan LLC, the cost-effective surveillance and reconnaissance platform for commercial and security applications. The SEEKER is a cost effective and truly versatile manned platform optimised to provide aerial surveillance and allow for the timely reporting of potential threats, tampering and malfunctions to essential infrastructure elements. The SEEKER has been developed as a highly cost-effective alternative for many low-level observation tasks currently being carried out by helicopters for which vertical take off and landing is not mission essential. Both the acquisition and running costs of a SEEKER typically will be one-third that of a comparable twin-seat helicopter, thus permitting the conduct of missions which are ‘Low, Slow and Often’ designed to operate on widely available ‘Super-Unleaded’ petrol (MOGAS 80-87), the SEEKER is an affordable and highly appropriate solution into a market for which there is no credible competition. In June 2004, the SEEKER was selected by the Coalition Provisional Authority for operations with the Iraqi Air Force for border patrol, infrastructure and security missions.

AL THA’LAB


Al-Tha’lab Long Range Patrol Vehicle (LRPV) is a cost-effective patrol vehicle designed for Internal Security, Reconnaissance and Border Patrol Forces.

DESERT IRIS4x4


Desert Iris was initiated to meet an operational requirement identified by the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) for a cost-effective, light weight and affordable utility vehicle. The Desert Iris is an off-road 4X4 non-armored vehicle with excellent heavy-duty specifications.

VIPER


An affordable highly accurate pistol which is easily maintained and supported. KADDB project “VIPER” is an ergonomically designed multi-caliber ambidextrous pistol, purposely designed for internal security forces and special forces.
 
Jordan Arrow



The Jordan Arrow aerial target system, which is part of the KADDB-JAI UAV family, is intended for air defense weapon training to evaluate and test the various close-in and short-range air defense weapon systems. This highly maneuverable threat simulation system used for land and sea training, is used for training on combating surface to air missiles (including man-portable) and anti-aircraft artillery. This cost effective system is capable of completely or partially simulating a variety of air defense threats. The target itself or the special towed sub-targets may be used for live fire training exercises. The target is a recoverable unmanned air vehicle equipped with power plant, automatic flight control system, recovery parachute and modular multi-version mission payloads. The airframe modular design is made of glass-fiber plastics and aluminum alloys. The presence of large hatches and removable cowlings provides easy access to all onboard systems.

Jordan Falcon


Jordan Falcon, part of the KADDB - JAI UAV family, is an effective, easy to use and affordable compact tactical UAV capable of performing a wide range of aerial robotic applications. The Jordan Falcon performs real-time day and night reconnaissance, remote sensing, surveillance and target accusation up to a range of 50 km. Constructed of sturdy composite material and featuring a proven adaptable high wing design the Jordan Falcon provides superb ground clearance-allowing operations from runways and semi-improved surfaces. An auto-up launcher is available to enable launching in tactical conditions. The system may include a catapult launch and an automatic parachute recovery system. The Jordan Falcon is powered by a quiet 200 cc 2-stroke engine burning a conventional gas/oil mixture with fuel for a 4-hour flight stored in the aircraft's fuselage tank. Additional fuel tanks may be equipped to provide added capacity. A generator and an emergency onboard batteries power the aircraft and payload. The Jordan Falcon heading, altitude, airspeed and GPS waypoint navigation are fully controlled by an Autopilot. A 5-watt video/telemetry microwave datalink transmits real-time imagery and vehicle telemetry back from the UAV at ranges up to 50 km. The Jordan Falcon is equipped with a switchable 2 different fields of view cameras installed on a controllable gimbal as well as connections and mountings that can fit an optional Pan-Tilt-Zoom Daylight Color TV or Pan-Tilt IR payload. Equipment such as communication jammer or relay packages or special payloads may also be fitted.

MARAUDER



The marauder is a modern state- of- the –art mine protected 4*4 armoured in the 15 ton weight class. The vehicle uses the well proven militarized man power plant and drive-line system integrated with a 4 speed fully automatic transmission which provides excellent on and off- road mobility. The unique double- skin provides for a smooth finish which gives the vehicle a clean modern appearance whilst providing unsurpassed protection for a vehicle in this weight class. The large windows provide excellent all-round visibility and the layout of driver and commander seated side-by-side allows for optimal communication within the confines of the vehicle. The large internal volume and superior payload capability of the marauder can be utilized for fitment of various defense suited and weapons system thereby providing the product mix and variant alternatives required to meet 21ST century mission requirements

MATADOR


The matador a modern state of the art mine protected 4*4 armoured vehicles in the 15 ton weight class. The vehicle use the well proven militarized MAN power plant and drive line system integrated with a 4 speed fully automatic transmission which provides excellent on and off- road mobility. The unique double skin provides for a smooth finish which gives the vehicle a clean modern appearance whilst providing unsurpassed protection for a vehicle in this weight class. The large windows provide excellent all round visibility and layout of driver and commander seated side by side allows for optimal communication within the confines of the vehicle in addition the matador offers mine protection which exceeds STANAG level IV. The large internal and external bin volume and superior payload capability of the matador can be utilized for fitment of various defense suits and weapons systems as well as providing stowage space for equipment and supplies for extended autonomous operations.

NIMIR 4X4


Multi-purpose vehicle intended to address the requirement for replacement of existing 4x4 light tactical vehicles with in the Middle East and elsewhere.

RG12


The RG12 vehicle is based on an armoured monocoque hull into which the automotive aggregates are integrated. The engine, mounted on a frames as part of a power pack, is located at the front of the vehicle, and can be accessed for maintenance purposes by removing the front grill and sliding the power pack to the front. Engine power is transmitted through a five speed automatic Transmission and two speed transfer case to all four wheels. Wheels are large (12.5R20) to provide good mobility over rough terrain. Excellent visibility is provided through large armoured windows. The vehicle is fitted with a door in the front on each side for the driver (right hand side) and co-driver, as well as door on each side of the vehicle in rear to provide access for the crew of 6(3 on each side). A hatch is provided on the left hand side for the co-driver. The payload area of the vehicle can be accessed from the crew compartment as well as from the outside through the rear door. The floor of the payload area is raised to accommodate the pare wheel, which is accessed from the rear of the vehicle.

YAMAMAH


The ‘Yamamah’ range of aircraft are factory-built, certificated and warranted aircraft, built by SAJ from component sets supplied by Jabiru Pty Ltd of Australia. SAJ has signed an agency agreement with Jabiru Pty Ltd for the assembly and sale of the J160 and J430 aircraft in countries of the Middle East, North Africa, Gulf, and Caucasus regions. SAJ plans on having a formal launching event for the Yamamah in the Autumn 0f 2005. SAJ has secured a LS/I Acceptance Certificate for both models from the Civil Aviation Authority in South Africa so as to facilitate the acceptance from the JCAA and enable the aircraft to be used for on-line hire and flight training. With the relaxation of Private Aviation regulations forecast for the Region, the demand for Yamamah and in turn flight training will increase exponentially.
