Jordan Agrees: Israel Can Use Airspace to Attack Syria

Why is it impossible? Jordan has traditionally helped Israel and the two have always been friends.

Of course, there would be public denials, so as not to agitate the palestinian arab refugees who would revolt against the King.

Hashemites are traditionally more moderate of the Arab world. King Faisal I of Iraq was a Zionist. His quote:

Don't twist the words, please. That was said in 1919. Way before Israel even existed or Zionism in it's political form i the Middle East, showed its ugly face. Most Arabs, me included, still believe that there should be room for Jews but we completely disagree and reject the events that have taken place since that speech in 1919.

Also most Arabs had normal ties with Jews before 1919 and even before 1947. Did you realize how many Jews that lived in Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere in the Arab world? Baghdad was nearly 1/2 Jewish.

The Jews were not getting killed unlike those in Europe.

Also I am a Meccan Hashemite. There are thousands of us just in Hejaz. The Hashemite branch who rules Jordan are just one of the many branches. They act independently.

Anyway the two-state solution (fair and real two-state solution not illegal Jewish settlements and treating Palestinians as cattle) is the best solution in 2013.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. See point #4 of the Faisal-Weizmann agreement.

Main points of the agreement:

1. The agreement committed both parties to conducting all relations between the groups by the most cordial goodwill and understanding, to work together to encourage immigration of Jews into Palestine on a large scale while protecting the rights of the Arab peasants and tenant farmers, and to safeguard the free practice of religious observances. The Muslim Holy Places were to be under Muslim control.
2. The Zionist movement undertook to assist the Arab residents of Palestine and the future Arab state to develop their natural resources and establish a growing economy.
3. The boundaries between an Arab State and Palestine should be determined by a Commission after the Paris Peace Conference.
4. The parties committed to carrying into effect the Balfour Declaration of 1917, calling for a Jewish national home in Palestine. Disputes were to be submitted to the British Government for arbitration.

Now what is Balfour Declaration?

Balfour Declaration of 1917

The Balfour Declaration in 1917 by Lord Balfour was to establish a Jewish national home in the whole "Mandate for Palestine" (today's Israel + Jordan). In Faisal-Weizmann agreement, Faisal I of Iraq agreed to this Balfour declaration.

Today's Israel is only a fraction of the area agreed to by Faisal I.

For a real nation that is able to be independent Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon need to be united, no puppets that allow oil to flow to Britain.

It's not true and a lie the criminals who massacred the Iraqi Hashimtes decided to go with to get the reign, however Iraqi oil like any other oil in all 3rd world countries used to be extracted and sold by Western companies for profit and concessions since those countries didn't have tech nor money nor specialized labor to produce oil at the time, plus, granting concessions doesn't mean selling it for free, Iraq today granted concessions to international companies as well, and that doesn't mean selling for free. Another thing, Hashimite era was the calmest, most prosperous in Iraq modern history and that wouldn't have happened without oil revenues, genius, would it?

And one last thing, Iraq was in between two choices, either Turkey take over Karkok, or granting concessions to Britain for profit. And Iraqis chose the latter. You have been suffering in hell the moment you killed the Hashimites. It's like a curse from Allah.

So Allah rewarded the hashemites/Arabs for destroying the Islamic ottoman empire and putting nationalism above Islam ?

Besides you are talking about stuff that happened decades after 1958 and your linking it to that event, that has nothing to do with it.

Do you know that Qasim put pressure on Egypt to not include Jordan in their "empire", the iraqi army would have intervened so they did not take Jordan.
Still ^^ is irrelevant now.

So Allah rewarded the hashemites/Arabs for destroying the Islamic ottoman empire and putting nationalism above Islam ?

The Ottoman Empire destroyed itself from within when it turned away from Islam and embraced Turkic nationalism. Ever heard about their treatment of Arabs, Armenians, Kurds and others? The Young Turk movement 10 years before the legitimate Arab revolt?

How do you think that some Turkic people originally from Turkmenistan (the Ottoman family came to current day Turkey from Turkmenistan) became Caliphs in the first place after we Arabs ruled the Caliphate since the death of Prophet Muhammad (saws) and for 800 straight years. During all the Islamic conquests, the Islamic Golden Age and the most important time of the Caliphates?

The Ottoman family proclaimed themselves Caliphs when they conquered Constantinople 500 years ago despite the Abbasids nominally ruling from Cairo for 250 years after the Mongol Conquest of Baghdad in 1258.

Hussein bin Ali (ra) and his family had been rulers of Makkah and Madinah for 1000 straight years. They were Sharifs of Makkah and Madinah and were highly respected by any ruling Caliphate and all Muslims regardless of sect. Sharif Hussein bin Ali (ra) was also the last Caliph of Islam.

As a Hashemite,[5] he was highly respected in the Islamic world. It was his "noble" lineage which granted him the status he maintained in the Hijaz. As a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, even the British, during his period as Emir, recognized this special status.

The Ottoman sultanate was abolished on 1 November 1922, in the midst of the Turkish War of Independence. The office of caliph, however, was retained for an additional sixteen months, during which it was held by Abdülmecid II. He served as caliph under the patronage of the newly founded Turkish Republic until 3 March 1924, when the Grand National Assembly of Turkey formally abolished the caliphate. Hussein bin Ali then proclaimed himself caliph,[3] basing his claim on his prophetic ancestry and his control of Islam's two holiest mosques, the Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi (collectively known as the Haramayn, Arabic: الحرمين‎). Possession of the Haramayn was an indispensable condition for any caliph.[4]

Even when the Turks with Ataturk at its helm removed the Caliphate themselves a certain person said this:

Mehmed VI, the last Ottoman sultan and penultimate Ottoman caliph, sent a telegraph of support to Hussein after he had proclaimed himself caliph.[5

Well its not so easy. King Faisal was supported by the British and he agreed to a Jewish state; however, when it turned out that the millions were being poured in and taking properties, he was scared.

Many local arabs were driven out and tensions flared. The British knew this would happen. They stayed quite.

The point is not to blame anyone. Jews and Palestinians have both rights to live equally, but the British must be blamed. They promised the zionists and the arabs and actually left both of them to fight it out by themselves.

.
Yes Jordan agreed to that. Cauz Turkey didn't let Israel to use our air space, lol. Middle East; the funniest place in the world eh?

.
The Arabs always back stab the other Arabs. That's why the jews always win.

they are not Arabs, they are a$$holes. They kill their own brethren in league with their known enemy. Arabs are their own enemies and no wonder Middle East is in such a mess.

Apart from Abdullah

Hashemites have nothing to do in Iraq, Levant.
They belong in Hejaz, the hashemite dogs of Iraq were giving all oil free to UK, how could anyone still respect them ?
Only Saudis.

They should be ashamed of calling themselves Hashemites.

How many times I need to post this?

Jordan refutes report of opening airspace to Israeli armed drones to spy on Syria

A Jordanian military official has refuted the reports that Jordan has opened two air corridors for Israeli drones to monitor the Syrian conflict. The official told RT Arabic that an earlier report by Le Figaro was “inaccurate and groundless.”

Citing a Western military source, the French daily said the decision to open Jordanian airspace to the Israelis had been reached in March following a visit by President Barack Obama to the country.

"The Syrians have Russian air defense assets, but Israeli aircraft are difficult to detect and therefore virtually immune to anti-aircraft measures," said the unnamed source to Le Figaro. The military craft will fly at night to minimize the risk of detection and are capable of striking a target “anywhere in Syria.”

The report follows an alleged Israeli strike at targets inside the Syrian border in acts branded as a violation of the UN charter. The new aerial corridors through Jordan will allow Israeli aircraft to avoid flying over southern Lebanon and inciting a possible aggressive response from Hezbollah.

Israel has repeatedly voiced its concern over stockpiles of chemical weapons in Syria and the possibility they may fall into the wrong hands. In late January the Israeli government issued a number of warnings to Syria before reports of an air strike on what Damascus claimed was a “scientific research center" emerged. Israel did not take direct responsibility for the strike, but Defense Minister Ehud Barak implied Israeli involvement.

“I keep telling you frankly that ... when we say something we mean it. We say that we don’t think [Hezbollah should be allowed] to bring advanced weapons systems into Lebanon,” he told journalists in Germany a week after the attacks.

The US got behind Israel, stating that Washington had been informed prior to the strike on what was also said to be a weapons convoy heading to Lebanon.
