Radical nationalist Jobbik has learnt with shock that Romanian authorities have banned their politicians entry to Romania, Gabor Pal, the party’s spokesman told MTI.
Romanian authorities have banned several Hungarians of entering the neighbouring country, citing extremist behaviour “demonstrated against Romania” as members and supporters of the Hungarian radical nationalist organisations Jobbik, Sixty-Four Counties Youth Movement, Betyarsereg and New Hungarian Guard, the Romanian interior ministry said on Friday.
Pal said the Romanian authorities’ measure is incomprehensible as the party’s politicians had not committed any acts or any crime that could explain such a ban.
He said the party would only put the issue on its agenda after the March 15 national holiday.
